5 Things Your Should Know About Getting a Double Helix Piercing
Uncommon Jewelry Finds for the Everyday Person
Over the course of my blog I've documented my love for small businesses and handmade goods. I quickly developed a passion for handmade goods after working at a local small business that provided a platform for local artists, designers, and aspiring entrepreneurs to sell their work. And that's exactly why this post is very special to me. I've teamed up with UncommonGoods to bring you two very different but sustainable outfit options incorporating handmade jewelry. This company celebrates individuality, sustainability, and dreamers. They've also made it incredibly easy to find beautiful and one of a kind handmade gifts for any person.

My Rings: The Stories Behind Them + Where I Got Them
Rings are the one jewelry item that I attach sentimental value to. Whether they've been given to me or purchased by myself, I am always taken back to a specific point of my life when I look at my rings. In almost every video and "outfit of the day" post you've see me wearing a ring, and it's been that way for at least 11 years. Today I want to tell you a little bit more about my favorite rings in my collection, including my newest addition that you may have seen on Instagram last week.
Isadora Store Opening
Last week I was invited to attend the Isadora grand opening in San Diego. I know a lot of you may not know about this store so I would like to introduce you to one of Latin America's most popular store. Isadora has over 135 stores in the main cities in Latin America and now they're opening stores in Southern California and hopefully across the country. The store offers classic, trendy, and feminine pieces at very affordable prices which I really enjoyed. Discover more about Isadora in this blog post and watch the vlog to see how the store looked inside.
DIY | State/Country Wire Necklace
The end of DIY is here! I'm quite sad that this week is over but I promise to do more DIYs in the future. In this video you'll be learning how to make your own state or country necklace made out of wire. You can make your home state or country, or a place you fell in love with. It's a very simple DIY that shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to make. As the saying goes, "home is where the heart is" but why not wear it right over your heart?
DIY | Ribbon Bar Necklace
In more recent months I've been trading in my chunky jewelry for more dainty pieces and there's nothing more dainty than a bar necklace. You can find bar necklaces everywhere from Etsy to Forever 21. The first time I saw a bar necklace was on blogger Chelsea of ChelseaWears.com. She often wears the Minoux tiny bar necklace in her videos and I've been wanting something similar for months now. This sparked an idea in my head- why don't I try to make my own bar necklace out of ribbon and recycled jewelry?
Mail time! | Shop Lately
I have been waiting for this package to arrive ever since I made the purchase about a week ago. I ordered some jewelry from Shop Lately right after watching Mallory's February Favorites video. She replied to my comment and told me how the pieces are extremely affordable so I decided to go check out the website and you know what? The pieces are very affordable. There are a lot of pieces that are less than $10 which is great!
