Can you believe that we only have 14 more days till Christmas? It's honestly time to buckle down and try to finish all your holiday shopping. I know, I still have a few people to buy gifts for (*cough* my dad and uncle *cough*). This week you'll be seeing three festive holiday looks for three different budgets, so there's bound to be something for everyone. I'm going to kick off Holiday Makeup Week with a very simple look using $1 makeup and brushes! Believe it or not, it is more than possible to achieve a full face of makeup with just products from your local dollar store. The makeup alone was under $20 which is a complete steal!

Dollar Store Makeup Challenge + First Impressions
I don't do too many challenges on my channel, but one that really caught my eye recently was the Dollar Store Makeup Challenge. I've seen some people take the challenge seriously but many people have made a complete joke about the premise of the challenge, as well as the products. Let's me be completely real, I may love high-end products but I know that how privileged I am to be able to spend $24 on lipstick or $40 on foundation without having to worry about meeting ends meet. Heck, just the concept of getting PR packages from companies is a huge privilege that not a lot of people have! There's so many people who are not able to spend money on a trip to Sephora or a trip to drugstore to buy makeup, so that's why I told myself that I needed to go the extra mile when it came to the Dollar Store Makeup Challenge. I made sure to show a variety of products from the Dollar Tree, show how each product applies, and also how they wear throughout the day.
Nails of the Day | Relentless
The other day when I went to Walmart I came across a brand new display of L.A. Colors nail polishes that claimed to last up to 10 days. With claims like that, you know I had to pick up one of these bad boys up to see if they really hold up over a week. There was a decent selection of shades available from the classic white, to very unique shades like this vibrant purple. I went ahead and bought a color that I was 100% sure that I didn't already own, and I was right! I don't have anything as vibrant as this purple shade, so it made me very happy to get such a fun shade for the summer. Now for the important thing, does this nail polish really last up to 10 days?
Shop Miss A Makeup Review
This is the long awaited Shop Miss A review! I finally sat down and reviewed all the products that I've hauled on my channel. Shop Miss A is a Texas based online store that offers makeup, accessories, jewelry, and hair items for just $1. They offer brands like E.l.f., Kleancolor, Beauty Trends, L.A. Colors, and Starry. I knew going in into my two purchases that not everything that I purchased was going to be a hit, but you know what? I was pleasantly surprised with some of the items. There's definitely some great gems that are only a buck!

Shop Miss A Haul
Everything you see in this picture was $1. Yes, everything! I can't be the only one that feels so much satisfaction when hauling dollar items, so when I first heard about Shop Miss A I knew it was going to be a website I would enjoy a lot. Shop Miss A is a Texas based online store that offers makeup, accessories, jewelry, and hair items for just $1. They offer brands like E.l.f., Kleancolor, Beauty Trends, L.A. Colors, and Starry. What I loved the most was the attention to detail, everything on the site has really clear pictures and many of the makeup items are swatched (some with on different skintones). This is surely going to be the first of many Shop Miss A hauls since I was so pleased with the products and the whole shopping experience.
$1 Neutral Palette
Not too long ago I wasn't able to afford the Marc Jacobs, Burberry, and Hourglass makeup because like many of you I was a student that had to worry about other expenses. There were even some drugstore brands that I found a little expensive such as Sonia Kashuk and Physicians Formula. I would occasionally splurge on a MAC item here and there, but the majority of my makeup collection were drugstore items. During a recent trip to the Dollar Tree, I stumbled upon two neutral palettes that I decided to test out. Will any of these two be worth a trip to your nearest dollar store? There's only one way to find out.
Tutorial | 10 Halloween Nail Art Ideas
Halloween is literally just around the corner so it was time to unleash my creative juices and create a a nail art tutorial. But I wasn't content with just coming up with one idea, so I challenged myself and came up with 10 nail art ideas! I've created 10 simple Halloween nail art that pretty much everyone can do. They are extremely easy to replicate and all you'll need are nail polish colors that you probably already have, a nail art polish ($1.80 at Forever 21), and a mechanical pencil (or dotting tool). You can either pick your favorite design and just do that on all your nails, or rock mismatched nails like I did.
