First Impression | Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kit

Among the many things I dislike about oily skin, I think I dislike blackheads the most. Since people with oily skin have larger pores, I tend to get more blackheads especially on my nose. I've tried many face masks and even the classic Biore strips, but honestly nothing has worked for me. When I first heard about the Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kit I was honestly intrigued by the fact that anyone would need three steps to remove blackheads so I decided to give it a shot. First Impression | Paul Mitchell StyleWand

It's no secret that I suck at styling my hair, hence why I don't really film hair tutorials. I'm just hair incompetent by now and the best I can ever do is using a hair tie or clip to keep my hair up. I'm quite minimal when it comes to hair, I just like applying some product and hoping for the best once it air dries. Recently I received the fancy looking StyleWand Thermal Styling Brush by Paul Mitchell and I knew I had to try it out on camera. I had never used anything like a thermal styling brush before but I mean, how hard could it be? (Just kidding, wish me luck because I need it.)

Review | CoverGirl Plumpify Blast Pro Mascara

The new CoverGirl mascara has arrived and this one has the most interesting brush I've ever seen. The Plumpify Blast Pro Mascara has a rubber brush with three different kinds of bristles to plump and lift the lashes. CoverGirl claims that the Plumpify Blast Pro Mascara will give you 50x more volume and separation. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the CoverGirl The Super Sizer Mascara so I was a bit hesitant to try another new CoverGirl mascara, but ultimately the strange brush got the best of me and I had to purchase it. In today's review you're going to be able to watch my first impression, as well as get to read about what I currently think about the mascara.

First Impression | LOC (Love of Color) by Tati

If you don't know about Tati of Glam Life Guru, then what are you doing? In my opinion she's the most honest and trustworthy YouTube beauty vloggers out there. If you need an opinion about a new product from the drugstore or Sephora, then Tati is your go-to girl. With an incredible work ethic and an encyclopedia worth of beauty knowledge, it's no surprise that she finally came out with a range of beauty products. LOC (Love of Color) is Birchbox's first in house makeup line, and for the launch they teamed up with Tati to create a range of products that perform like luxury makeup but are incredibly affordable. Since I'm a huge fan of Tati I decided to pick up the Royal Flush Clutch Collection so I could get the chance to try out a little bit of everything and tell you what I think about her LOC (Love of Color) collection.

$1 Neutral Palette

Not too long ago I wasn't able to afford the Marc Jacobs, Burberry, and Hourglass makeup because like many of you I was a student that had to worry about other expenses. There were even some drugstore brands that I found a little expensive such as Sonia Kashuk and Physicians Formula. I would occasionally splurge on a MAC item here and there, but the majority of my makeup collection were drugstore items. During a recent trip to the Dollar Tree, I stumbled upon two neutral palettes that I decided to test out. Will any of these two be worth a trip to your nearest dollar store? Review | L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime CC Cream

There's nothing I hate more than wearing a heavy foundation in the summer. I don't like the feeling like you're wearing a thick mask, and then you have to worry about how your foundation is going to look throughout the day. When it comes to bases for the summer, I always favor those with light/medium coverage since they tend to feel much lighter on the skin. I've tried a fair number of BB and CC creams in the past, but I have to be completely honest and say that I haven't been that impressed. I rarely see the skincare benefits and the most of them have lacked in coverage. When I first heard about the L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime CC Cream, I became very intrigued to see a skincare company's version of a CC cream. This CC cream contains peony extract which has skin perfecting qualities that are supposed to even skin tone and make it appear more radiant. Review | CoverGirl The Super Sizer Mascara and Intensify! Me! Liquid Eyeliner

Last week I received a nice little package from CoverGirl which included two of their newest releases: The Super Sizer by Lashblast Mascara and the Intensify! Me! by Lashblast Liquid Eyeliner. CoverGirl is one of those brands that nearly every girl buys when they're first trying to get into makeup. The original Lashblast Volume Mascara in the orange tube was one of the first mascaras that I tried that left me incredibly impressed with my lashes. And most recently the Full Lash Bloom Mascara became a big winner in my look, so you can imagine how excited I got when I saw a brand new CoverGirl mascara in the box. First Impression | Julep Plié Wand

When I showed the Julep Plié Wand in one of my newest hauls I got some requests to film a first impression review on it. Julep refers to their Plié Wand as "a revolutionary nail polishing tool" which made me very skeptical. The very long wand with a swivel feature is supposed to make it easier to paint your nails. The Plié Wand is designed to fit any Julep nail polish and they include two brushes for non-Julep nail polishes. Now that we have that out of the way, let's get to the review!

First Impression | POPSUGAR Must Have Box

Nowadays there's a subscription box for nearly everything but the POPSUGAR Must Have box is the first one I know of that combines beauty, fashion, home, fitness, and food items. The box is $39.95 a month which makes it one of the pricier subscription services, but they are known to include full-size products and premium items. I was so excited when I received this box because not only was it big but it was also really heavy. I didn't know what to expect from this box because I'm not very familiar with the service so everything was a surprise to me. I've been wanting to try this foundation ever since I saw Estée's (essiebutton) video a few months ago. Being a mineral foundation lover and seeing how great her skin looked made me finally splurge on the Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation. The foundation is enriched with Tarte's famous Amazonian clay which provides benefits for each specific skin type. Tarte's Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation is also talc-free, waterproof, and provides 12-hours coverage. In my latest first impression I'm going to be putting this foundation to the test by taking it out on a hot San Diego day.

Wet n Wild's 24 Carrot Gold vs. Mac's Morange

Orange is a fun color but should you spend $15 on something that you're going to wear on special occasions? I've found a dupe of the cult favorite Morange lipstick and the best thing is that the lipstick is only $1.99! In my latest installment of my first impression review I'll be reviewing the Wet n Wild Mega Last Color in 24 Carrot Gold that I recently picked up. In the video I also compare it to Morange in terms of color, texture, opacity, and feel.

First Impression | Julep Maven Box

There's a subscription box for just about anything nowadays. There are some that include beauty samples, others that include a survival package for when you're PMS-ing (I'm not kidding, there are boxes out there), and then there's boxes for nail polish addicts like myself. I've never tried a subscription box before and I kept seeing the Julep ads on my Google AdSense both on YouTube and my blog so I decided to give their box a shot. I used the code FREEBOX to get my first box for free! In this box you get three Julep nail polishes plus a bonus gift. Each nail polish retails for $14 on their site so I thought the box was a really good deal. First Impression | LSTN Beech Bowery Headphones

I recently got approached by LSTN Headphones to review a pair of headphones. In case you don't know about LSTN they're a headphone company which sells headphones made out of wood! Not only does that set them apart from other headphone companies but they also give back to those in need. Whenever someone purchases one of their headphones, they donate a hearing aid to someone in need. Giving someone the ability to hear for their mom or music for the first time is a life changing experience. As a longtime music fan I can't go a day without listening to music for a couple of hours so I couldn't imagine not being able to hear a thing. I really loved the premise of LSTN Headphones, as well as their cause, so it only made sense for me to partner with them for a review. This is only my first impression, I will publish an in-depth review some time next week after I've tested for a couple of days.

As someone who has watched Michelle since the beginning of her YouTube career, I got so happy when she announced the launch of her makeup line. When it comes to YouTube makeup gurus, you can't get any bigger than Michelle. She's basically done it all! Millions of subscribers- check. Create her own YouTube network- check. A makeup subscription service- check. Create a makeup empire- CHECK! Since I began watching her at the beginning YouTube journey, I find Michelle very inspiring. I mean, who wouldn't want her life? She gets to have a creative job that allows her to have a huge impact on young women all over the world. You honestly can't ask for a better job! During Labor Day I took advantage of a little promo that was going on. Basically with any purchase you would get a trial size of the life palette so I went ahead and purchased a Shade Play palette since it looked very interesting. Did the products live up to Michelle's legacy? There's only one way to find out.

First Impression | Lush Butterball bath bomb

Can I start the post  by saying how happy I am that Lush finally has a store in San Diego? I've honestly been waiting for them to open down here for years but now that they're here this could potentially be bad for my bank account. I haven't tried too many Lush products because when it comes to bath products, I really want to be able to smell things before buying them.
