POPSUGAR #MustHaveBox September 2016

Something must be in the water because subscription box companies are absolutely killing it this September and POPSUGAR is no exception. I've been a fan of the #MustHaveBox box for a bit because it'll completely take you by surprise with the variety of products that they send out. You can get anything from beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and health products that you might have never tried before. And the best thing? Most of the (if not all) the items are full sized! The September box was one of the best subscription boxes I've ever opened, period. And the box itself was valued at $146.98!! Not a bad deal considering that a few of the products cost almost as much as the $39.95 box itself.

Outfit of the Day | Rock The Vote

In the past I never really cared much about politics, but boy has time changed the way I view politics. If you've been following this election, then you know how crazy and weird it has all been. I was personally a Bernie girl and will continue to support him even though he's not the Democratic Presidential nominee. What Bernie's campaign was able to do for me is something that I will forever be thankful for. Because of his campaign I can now say that I am a much more active and passionate participant in our nation's government. I really feel like more young adults should feel that same passion and rally together to shape our country's future. That's why I think it's amazing for a beauty and entertainment website like Popsugar to team up with Rock the Vote to encourage people to register to vote and get their voices heard.

If you haven't heard of the POPSUGAR #MustHaveBox, then let me tell you more about this very unique box. This is a beauty, fashion, lifestyle, home, and health box with over $100 worth of products. Traditionally the Must Have Box has retailed for $39.95/month, but recently POPSUGAR launched the Must Have Mini which is only $18.95/month. Two years ago I was able to unbox my first Must Have Box and to be honest it wasn't my favorite box, so I gladly signed up to be able to give it another shot. This time around the Must Have Box definitely exceeded all my expectations and I actually had so much fun unboxing this.

The Selfie Social Media Cleanse

I would like to start off this post by saying that I, Laura, am a social media addict. My parents have always loved to tease me about how I'm not able to survive without my phone or social media, and for the first time I saw that they might be right. In honor of the new ABC comedy, Selfie, I was challenged to take a social media cleanse. There were four different categories and I qualified as a "mobile maniac." What that means is that my phone and I are attached to the hip and if I don't have it with me well... Then I get a little anxious. Nowadays there's a subscription box for nearly everything but the POPSUGAR Must Have box is the first one I know of that combines beauty, fashion, home, fitness, and food items. The box is $39.95 a month which makes it one of the pricier subscription services, but they are known to include full-size products and premium items. I was so excited when I received this box because not only was it big but it was also really heavy. I didn't know what to expect from this box because I'm not very familiar with the service so everything was a surprise to me.
