I know you've seen me wear a lot more thrifted items recently (click here to find out why), but I actually wasn't very good at thrifting until this year. I remember begging my ex-boyfriend to take me to the thrift shops in Orange County when I would go visit him because I wanted to see if I could find some cool stuff like all the fashion vloggers on YouTube. And each and every single time I would leave the thrift stores disappointed or with only one item (which still counts as disappointed). Somehow I was convinced that I just sucked at thrifting and that I should stick to traditional retail shopping, but it turns out that I was just not going into this with the right mindset. If you've followed me these last 2 years, then you know how much I love short hair. I've had a bob, lob, pixie cut, and even rocked some awkward Justin Bieber hair for a few months. I absolutely love experimenting with haircuts because it's just so easy. One moment I can have medium-length hair, and then I can go and chop it all off. I honestly believe that my outlook on hair makes life that much more fun for me. As you can probably notice from this picture, I got a bob once again but this is no ordinary bob. The Easiest Way to Fix Makeup Mistakes

So you've done almost your entire makeup routine and suddenly you get mascara on the bridge of your nose? That's a beauty scenario that happens way too often in my life. There's also all the times when you've blinked and gotten mascara on your lower eyelid, and all those times that you've tried to wing out your eyeliner and somehow it just kept getting thicker and thicker in order to "fix" your mistakes. Luckily I've found a two step process that doesn't require lugging around your oil-based makeup remover or wasting an entire makeup wipe just to fix something that is smaller than a dime. All you're going to need is a handy dandy tool that costs less than $5 and a cotton swab.

Although I won't be going to Coachella this year (plans fell through and I had to sell my ticket, its kind of a long story) it seems people on Tumblr are still asking me for Coachella advice so I've decided to resurrect the Survival Guide that I wrote back in 2011 and write a couple more tips.
