When it comes to lashes women do everything! They will buy the latest lash serum, use mascara primer, buy loads and loads of fake lashes, try the newest mascara with the craziest claims, and some will even attempt a at home remedy or two in hopes to make their lashes grow. I had heard of eyelash extensions before but didn't know much about the procedure prior to my appointment at Blink Lash Boutique. Before I dive into the world of eyelash extensions I would like to point out that this is going to be a blog post focusing solely on Blink Lash Boutique, there will be two videos which will be posted the next week regarding the process and also my experience with eyelash extensions.

December Favorites

It seems like every blogger is releasing their "best of 2013" video but I just felt kind of weird doing that. Who am I to decide which products were the best of the year? I haven't been blogging for a year yet and I know that I haven't tried out that many products for me to make the claim that something was the best of the year. Instead of doing that, I've decided to continue my monthly favorites as normal. I discovered lots of great new makeup and skincare items that I was dying to show you!

Yellow is my favorite color but finding the right shade of yellow nail polish can be tough. Some yellow polishes make your nails look dull, others are streaky, and then there's some that take forever to achieve the desired opacity. Who knew a good yellow nail polish could be so hard to find? On my quest to finding a good yellow nail polish I encountered the Rimmel 60 Seconds nail polish in Sunny Days. The very affordable nail polish stood out to me because it is the perfect shade of primary yellow. I have never tried a Rimmel 60 Seconds nail polish before so I figured this would be like killing two birds with one stone. So how did this polish measure up?

What to Expect on the Blog + YouTube

My one year blogiversary is fastly approaching and I couldn't be more excited. 2013 was a great year but I am committed to make 2014 even better. More content, more review, more tutorials, more outfit inspiration, and of course more giveaways. Like the sound of that? If so just keep reading so you can get the 411 on what's to come.

I hope you all had an amazing time ringing in the new year with your friends and family. I am currently with my boyfriend since I celebrated new year's with his family. I'm hoping to film a little video for my channel with him while I'm here, so keep your fingers crossed!
