Nuxe is one of the wonderful French skincare brands that I was lucky enough to discover when I was studying abroad in Paris. I'm sure you've heard me rave about the Rêve de Miel Lip Balm one too many times before. That is my holy grail lip balm and it's one of the most irreplaceable products in my skincare routine. In fact that's been my go-to lip balm for almost 5 years now, so that's goes to show how much I love and trust Nuxe as a skincare brand. Apart from the lip balm, Nuxe is also known for their famous (dare I say iconic) Huile Prodigieuse. There wasn't a French pharmacy that I would walk into where I wouldn't see bottles among bottles of that beautiful gold oil. Well if you're a fan of the Huile Prodigieuse, then you might want to look into the Crème Prodigieuse range. In this post I'm going to be talking about the Crème Prodigieuse Eye Cream which has replaced all my other eye creams and is now that only thing I use in the day and at night.

Review | Fur Oil
Let's talk about skincare for a body part that is often considered a taboo subject, even by females. We're going to talk about vaginas today. Yes, vaginas. We literally hydrate every part of our body from our feet up to our scalp, but why not our vaginal area? We even hydrate the hair on top of our head, but why not our pubic hair? And yes, I just wrote "public hair" on my blog like it's not big deal- because in reality it shouldn't be a big deal. I was approached by Fur a few months ago to try one of their products out and I said "Yeah!" Look, I'm not embarrassed at all to talk about my vagina or public hair. I think the more we talk about it, the less it'll be considered a taboo subject. Plus, as a woman I feel the need to talk about subjects that could potentially be beneficial to my fellow ladies out there.
Review | Kate Somerville EradiKate Mask and Acne Treatment
If you deal with acne, then you know how incredibly annoying it can be and sometimes treating acne can be pretty damn annoying as well. Some acne treatments are very harsh and will dry out your skin, and then you know what happens next. Once you apply your foundation, concealer, and powder then the product will just cling on your skin and enhance the dry spots. In my opinion that is not a pretty look, so you can imagine how excited I was when I discovered non-drying acne treatments. I had heard so much about the cult favorite Kate Somerville EradiKate Acne Treatment and now that I've tried it, I know why people love it so damn much. In this post you'll be getting a ton of information about the products, as well as some very handy product demos.
5 Makeup Removers to Check Out
Let's talk about the one skincare item that I really can't leave without- makeup removers. As much as I love the convenience of a good makeup removing wipe, there's just something about seeing your makeup melt away that's so incredibly satisfying to me. And I've tried almost every type makeup remover you can think of: cleansing butters, creams, micellar waters, cleansing oils, and even biphase products. In this post I'm going to be telling you about the five makeup removers that I really enjoy using to take off my makeup after a long day. There's quite a nice variety of consistencies, brands, and even price ranges in this post. And I even included some international brands in this roundup which might really intrigue some of you who want to try something new.

Cool Down in a Stick
Let's talk about one of the coolest skincare products at the moment that will literally cool you down, even on a hot and humid day. MILK MAKEUP is the cool kid on the block in the beauty world and I'm personally super intrigued by their refreshing approach to beauty. What initially attracted me to their brand was their innovative, yet practical packaging. Then I found out that mega babe and one of my favorite singers, Samantha Urbani, was one of the faces of the brand and I knew I had to try something out. With the hot summer months ahead I picked up the Cooling Water which has become a saviour for my puffy under eyes.
Sephora Hand and Lip Masks
Sheet masks have been taking the beauty world by storm as of late, and it's not just Korean brands who are making great sheet masks. Sephora started making their own sheet masks sometime last year or in late 2014, and they've now expanded their collection to include hand and lip masks. I'm not going to lie to you, the reason why I even picked these up was because they sounded kind of weird. The second reason I picked these up was because both my hands and lips have been on the dryer side as of late, which is a big no-no for me. So I put these to the test for you guys, and I even recorded some very awkward Snapchats in the process.
Glossier | Best & Worst
Nowadays I'm all about the minimal makeup look, and no brand does minimal beauty better than Glossier. The company was founded by Emily Weiss of the incredibly popular blog, IntoTheGloss.com (one of my all-time faves). Glossier's motto is "Skin first. Makeup second." so it's all about letting your real skin peek through and enhancing your natural beauty. I've been raving about the Boy Brow for a few months now, but I thought it would be very helpful to review all the Glossier that I currently own and have tried in a video. That way you'll get an idea of the products I love, the ones I like, and the ones that just didn't work out for me.
The Caolion #PerfectPores Kit
Pores, we all have them and for some reason we always want to magically get "rid" of them. We use silicone based primers to diminish the appearance of pores, abrasive exfoliators to "shrink" pores, and harsh strips in hopes to get "eliminate" of those pesky blackheads. I know there's a million and one articles and videos out there where people claim they've found the solution to get rid of big pores, but in reality the concept of opening and closing pores by using products is a myth. A huge myth that has made the cosmetic industry thousands, if not millions of dollars. The size of your pores is determined by your genes, so if you have large pores then you have your family to thank for that. While you can't do much about the physical size of your pores, you can in fact decongest them to give the appearance that they're a bit smaller. In this post I'm going to be talking about the Caolion #PerfectPores Kit which I've been mentioning a lot on Twitter and Snapchat. It's honestly some magical skincare!
Review | OSEA Malibu
Recently I've been getting so many questions about my skincare routine on social media and YouTube and I'm finally spilling the beans on what I've been using for the last few weeks. I've been switching my skincare products to more natural and Korean products, and to be honest my skin has never looked better. My skin is clear, looks much brighter, and blemishes have been controlled significantly. In this video I'm going to share my experience about the natural and vegan skincare products by OSEA Malibu. As you can guess by their name, the company is based in Malibu, California and they specialize in natural, vegan, and non-toxic skincare products.
Review | derma e Evenly Radiant Dark Circle Eye Crème
By now I think you know that I really love derma e skincare products. Derma e is completely natural, vegan, and cruelty-free skincare company with an incredible range of skincare products. So many of their products have become staples in my skincare routine, and this one is no exception. Months ago I raved about the Evenly Radiant Brightening Serum in this post and it's still my go-to serum. To absolutely no surprise the Evenly Radiant Dark Circle Eye Crème has completely stolen my heart and become my go-to eye cream for both day and night. In this post I'm going to let you know why I love it and if it really does anything to minimize dark circles.
First Impression | Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kit
Among the many things I dislike about oily skin, I think I dislike blackheads the most. Since people with oily skin have larger pores, I tend to get more blackheads especially on my nose. I've tried many face masks and even the classic Biore strips, but honestly nothing has worked for me. When I first heard about the Holika Holika Pig Nose Clear Blackhead 3-Step Kit I was honestly intrigued by the fact that anyone would need three steps to remove blackheads so I decided to give it a shot. We're about to become closer friends after this first impression since you'll be seeing my blackheads up close. Hope you enjoy!
Review | Derma E Purifying Daily Detox Scrub
When it comes to natural skincare brands, I've been quite a fan of Derma E since last summer. I find that their products are very effective for oily skin, while also being quite gentle. I've never had my skin react negatively due a Derma E product and nearly every product I've tried has given me excellent results. Recently I put their Purifying Daily Detox Scrub to the test so I can review it for you and let me tell you, this stuff is great! The scrub contains charcoal, seaweed, apricot seed powder, and menthol. If you don't know charcoal is a fantastic skincare ingredient for oily skin since it's able to remove toxins and impurities from your skin.
Asian Beauty Haul
I've been wanting to try out Asian beauty and skincare products for the longest time, but it took me a while to find an online store that had both reasonably prices and shipping. During a quick YouTube search I came across a video by an Asian beauty blogger residing in the UK and she recommended an eBay store which I immediately fell in love with. The eBay store has a great array of Asian skincare and beauty products that are priced very well, and the best thing is that the shipping is quite quick and completely free. Apart from ordering a few skincare and beauty products, I also purchased some more brushes from one of my favorite eBay shops.
Review | Zim's Max Crack Creme Creamy Daytime Formula
Like many of you I happen to get dry skin during the fall and winter. My hands can often feel rough to the touch, and don't even get me started on my elbows and feet. While I can get away with being a little careless with moisturizing my skin during the summer, I definitely can't neglect my skin when the air is dry and cold. Over a year ago I reviewed the Zim's Advanced Crack Creme and I referred to it as "a miracle in a tube," so when I was asked if I wanted to give their Creamy Daytime Formula a try I just couldn't say no. Based on my previous experience I knew going in that I was going to enjoy this product, but will this become my go-to winter lotion? And how does it compare to the Advanced Crack Creme?
Review | Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer
A few weeks ago I did a sponsored blog post with Target which featured the new Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer. While the post focused more on my idea for a quick body care routine, I did have to mention some facts about the Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer and show how the product works. Since publishing that blog post I've been using Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer regularly to see if I prefer this over a conventional moisturizer. All I can say as a teaser is that I have very mixed feeling about the moisturizer, there's definitely some pros and a lot of cons that I would love to talk about.
Review | derma e Purifying Toner Mist and Youth Serum
You may recall that I reviewed the Evenly Radiant Brightening Serum by derma e a few months ago and today I'm going to review a few more products from this natural skincare brand. I've been using both the Purifying Toner Mist and the Purifying Youth Serum for well over a month now, I actually started using them right before I went to Outside Lands so it's been a while. The new Purifying range is designed for people with normal to oily skin who live in a city, it honestly makes me think like this product was made with me in mind. The Purifying products are meant to detox and reboot your skin daily, so it won't appear dull due to the micropollutants in the urban air. I have to give you a small teaser: One of these products has become a new staple in my skincare routine, but the other one I didn't get along with.
Skin Survival Tips for College

The first day of class is just around the corner and you know what that means, right? Long lectures, essays upon essays, and you can't forget about the classic all-nighters. I still remember pulling numerous all-nighters back when I was in college and on occasion I would forget to remove my makeup. The present me is cringing at the thought of sleeping with makeup on, but it did happen a few times during college. Today I'm going to show you a really quick routine that will keep you shine-free and your acne at bay while you're in college. Taking care of your skin doesn't need to cost a lot of money or take too much time from your studies thanks to these Clean & Clear products which were repurchased a few too many times throughout my college years. The best thing is that you can easily find everything I'll be sharing with you at everyone's favorite store (or maybe I'm just speaking for myself), Target!

Review | derma e Evenly Radiant Brightening Serum
A few weeks ago I gave you a peek into my morning skincare routine but a product that didn't make the cut was the derma e Evenly Radiant Brightening Serum. When it comes to testing out skincare, I really like to take my time to familiarize myself with a product. I also like to wait a few weeks to give the product enough time to show results on my skin. I've been testing out the derma e Evenly Radiant Brightening Serum for close to 3 weeks now and I feel like I can finally give you my opinions about this serum. The serum has claims that it will help fight discoloration and dark spot, and it's also meant to be used by people with normal to oily skin. Oily skin and dark spots? Those are two things that I have!
10 Ways to Use Argan Oil
I feel like I need to start this post by saying: I LOVE argan oil! I legit feel like Goldmember whenever I see or use argan oil, my obsession is that bad. Argan oil is produced from the kernels of the argan tree in Morocco. In Morocco the oil is mainly used to drizzle on couscous or as a dip, but here in the United States it is predominantly seen in skincare. If you enjoy pure vitamin E oil, then you're going to fall in love with argan oil. Argan oil is often referred as "liquid gold" (hence why I feel like Goldmember) because it's rich in vitamin E, fatty acids, and proteins. Apart from having amazing components and skin benefits, this oil is incredibly multipurpose. In this video I'm going to share 10 ways I use argan oil and I'm going to be using my favorite argan oils from ACURE Organics.
May 2015 Favorites
It's the end of the month and you know what time it is? It's May favorites time! This monthly favorites video is a bit different to the others I've recorded in the past. First of all, this video is part of a collab with four of my YouTube friends: Bon Parisien, Jonathan Curtis, Will Cook, and Sammee Jayne. Second, in this video I will be sharing some of my favorite natural and cruelty-free products. All but one product is cruelty-free and the majority of the products are incredibly affordable. If you're interested in seeing what I've been loving and all the other videos in the collab please keep reading.
