Let me fill you in on a little secret... I absolutely suck at sewing clothes. Whenever I need something hemmed or repaired, then I'll either ask my mom or get it done at the dry cleaners because otherwise I don't trust myself with a needle and thread. There's a few items in my closet that I haven't even worn because I find the fit very unflattering, like this maxi skirt. I know many people love maxi skirts, but they're just not my cup of tea because they make me look a bit frumpy. If you're someone that isn't the best at altering clothes, then you're going to love this easy and very affordable solution that I found at Target. This requires absolutely no sewing skills and it will only take you a few minutes to do. Plus this is a great way to update your wardrobe without feeling the need to purchase more clothes.

Believe it or not, the holidays are on their way. It's time to start making lists so you can get your Christmas shopping done in a breeze. If you're anything like me, you like taking care of all Christmas shopping before the holiday madness. There's honestly nothing worse than packed malls, picked over displays, and dealing with all the holiday stress. I personally really enjoy picking gifts for my loved ones, and I especially enjoy shopping for my dogs. My family has always been amazing at including our dogs in our holiday festivities, and this year we have a new addition to the family which should make things even more fun for us. This year I decided to make a stocking for each of our dogs so we can put some toys and their favorite PEDIGREE® snacks in there. In this blog post I'm going to be showing you some gift ideas for any sized dog in your family.Dramatic Smokey Eye For Fall

Now this isn't your everyday type of look or your traditional smokey eye, this look is for the daring girls. I decided to push the boundaries and go completely out of my neutral comfort zone to unleash my inner rock star. The inspiration for this smudgy red and pink smokey eye came from the new Maybelline Push Up Drama Mascara which I recently picked up from Walmart. You all know by now that I live for volumizing mascaras, and this mascara definitely gives me all the drama that I'm craving for. I'm not going to lie, my own idea of doing a red and pink smokey eye scared me at first but I'm so glad that I challenged myself because I ended up being obsessed with this look. I am guilty definitely guilty for taking one too many selfies that day, but can you blame me?Mad For Plaid

Outfit inspirations can come any shape and form. I often find inspiration on Pinterest, magazines, while I'm out and about, and most recently on a bottle of LISTERINE®. Random I know, but the new bottles are just pretty freaking cool. If you've followed my blog for a while, then you already know that usually I shy away from prints but I will gladly make an exception for plaid. Plaid to me is the print that personifies effortlessly cool, and it also happens to be ridiculously comfortable. Plaid is very versatile since it can easily go from the streets to a glam get together. While I love plaid, the San Diego weather makes it a bit tricky to wear it but I've come up with three very easy ways that you can style plaid while it still feels like summer outside.
Time-Saving Body Care Routine

Let me make a confession: I'm super lazy when it comes to body care. While I absolutely love spending my time applying my makeup, applying lotion is not one of my favorite activities. In fact I only do it when I remember or when my skin is feeling extremely dry. Oops! I feel like I've let you all down a little since you all probably think I'm obsessed with everything and anything body care related, but I'm not. The reality is that a skin care, body care, and makeup routine can all be time be very time consuming, but I was recently introduced to a fancy new product by Jergens that has helped me cut some time from my less than perfect body care routine. Yes, I can finally wave goodbye to wasting time rubbing my moisturizer in and can use that extra time to perfect my winged eyeliner. Hey, I have my priorities! If you're anything like me, then you'll want to find out my time-saving and fuzz-free body care routine for lazy girls such as myself.Happy Healthy Dogs

By now pretty much everyone who follows me on my blog and my social media accounts knows that I love my three dogs. All of them are different breeds and sizes, but they're all spoiled rotten and very healthy. My family and I value each dog's health a lot since we want them to stick around for as long as possible. Our love, healthy food choices, and activities have kept the dogs very happy and healthy over the years. Francis is the smallest of our three dogs and as previously mentioned on my blog, she's the pickiest eater. She won't eat the regular adult dog kibble because it's too big and hard, and even though the puppy kibble is much smaller she won't even touch it. Luckily for Francis, Beneful has come up with a dog food specifically for the tiniest members of the family! In this blog post you'll see a few of the things that my family does to keep Francis as happy and healthy as possible by using products that are conveniently available at Target. And there's also a bunch of adorable pictures of dogs in this blog post!

The first day of class is just around the corner and you know what that means, right? Long lectures, essays upon essays, and you can't forget about the classic all-nighters. I still remember pulling numerous all-nighters back when I was in college and on occasion I would forget to remove my makeup. The present me is cringing at the thought of sleeping with makeup on, but it did happen a few times during college. Today I'm going to show you a really quick routine that will keep you shine-free and your acne at bay while you're in college. Taking care of your skin doesn't need to cost a lot of money or take too much time from your studies thanks to these Clean & Clear products which were repurchased a few too many times throughout my college years. The best thing is that you can easily find everything I'll be sharing with you at everyone's favorite store (or maybe I'm just speaking for myself), Target!

Today's post is brought to you by Leonardo da Vinci and his masterpiece the Mona Lisa (La Gioconda). One of my favorite paintings of all time happens to be the Mona Lisa and I've been in love with the work of art ever since I can remember. I have always been so fascinated by the mysterious woman with the cherub face and the iconic faint smile, there's just something about the whole painting that really appeals to me. When I decided to take part in the #NeutrogenaFaceOff challenge I knew I had to do something different and I thought "this would be the perfect time to become the Mona Lisa." This particular makeup look does require a lot of makeup but one Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelette from Walmart is enough to remove everything from my face.Natural Summer Beauty

Less is definitely more when it comes to summer beauty, and especially if you're going to be heading out to the pool or beach. I've teamed up with Walgreens and #CollectiveBias to bring you this summer beauty edition of #WalgreensBeauty. The key to a summer beauty look is simplicity and I'll only be using the following coral colored beauty products for today's natural beauty look.My Summer + Smooth Legs Routine

We're only days away from the official start of summer, but here in San Diego it's been summer since 2014 began. You always have to be summer ready around here which means having a nice manicure/pedicure, silky legs, and always wearing some form of SPF. I know many resort to tanning during the summer, but I'm a naturally pale person so I have to step up my SPF game during the hottest months of the year. In this blog post I've teamed up with #CollectiveBias to share #MySummerLook by using Sally Hansen and Energizer products that can be easily found at Target. There's also a very exciting Instagram contest where $2,250 in Target gift cards will be given away so you can get your own summer ready look.
