I probably have every single color in the rainbow in my nail polish collection. I am not one to shy away from very bright, unusual, or "ugly" nail polish shades. The weirder the shade, the better! Nail polish can easily be removed with acetone, so there's no harm in experimenting with colors. One of the more unusual shades that I own is this neon pastel lime green color by Essie. It's kind of a weird color to describe because it is bright like a neon, but it also has a milky white base like a pastel. I never thought that I would need a neon lime green polish, but when I saw this I immediately picked it up.

Outfit of the Day | Modern Basics
Earlier this summer I decided that I'm going to begin to transition into a capsule wardrobe. If you don't know what that means, I'm basically going to limit my wardrobe to 30-40 pieces. In order to do that, I've been selling some of my clothing and putting stuff aside to donate. It's not easy decluttering your closet, but building a capsule wardrobe has proven to be quite fun. The few fashion pieces that I've picked up as of late have been purchased if they fit the following criteria: 1.) Will I get a lot of wear from this? 2.) Can I style it in multiple ways? 3.) Do I feel comfortable in this? And from there I decide if it's worth adding into my wardrobe or not. Today I'm going to show you one of my favorite outfits that I've been wearing quite often this summer.

Premios Juventud Slumber Party!
Who's ready for a pijamada? Yes, I said just said pijamada which is Spanish for slumber party. Has it been awhile since you last went to one? In this post I'm going to show you how you can a more grown-up version of your favorite childhood event. Los Premios Juventud (The Youth Awards) are taking place tomorrow night (July 16th) on Univision, and there's no better way to enjoy a fun award show than with a small viewing party. The traditional finger food and obligatory slumber party manicures aren't going anywhere, but they definitely getting a major upgrade. As part of Target's #SinTraducción campaign, I'm going to be teaching you some words in Spanish that just don't translate easily into English. What can I say? My days as a language student are definitely coming out to play at this pijamada.Content and/or other value provided by our partner, Target. All opinions are my own.
March 2015 Favorites
It had been some weeks since I last sat down to talk to the camera, so recording my favorites felt really great. Last month I was sick for two weeks, so I wasn't wearing a whole lot of makeup while I had the flu. This month's favorites features products that I've never talked about in this channel, such as a toothpaste. Yes, a toothpaste. I also discovered a great Argan oil that won't break the bank and a foundation so lightweight that I can't feel it on my face. Also, if you live in San Diego I will be co-hosting a shopping event on April 11th at Madewell. For more information watch the following video.

Natural Summer Beauty
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #WalgreensBeauty #CollectiveBias
Less is definitely more when it comes to summer beauty, and especially if you're going to be heading out to the pool or beach. There's absolutely no need for a full face of makeup when you're going to be out having fun under the sun. I've teamed up with Walgreens and #CollectiveBias to bring you this summer beauty edition of #WalgreensBeauty. The key to a summer beauty look is simplicity and I'll only be using the following coral colored beauty products for today's natural beauty look.Fashion Brunch at the W Hotel
On Sunday I finally got to see some of my blogger friends and meet some new San Diego Style Bloggers members at the Fashion Brunch. The W Hotel in San Diego hosted a fabulous brunch filled with amazing food from their Kelvin Restaurant which included a delicious egg benedict and waffles with caramel drizzled on top. Over a year ago I attended my first blogger event at the W Hotel and it felt amazing to be back at the place where I met some of my friends for the first time. Not only was there good food but also very unique jewelry by two local artists which you will be introduced to in this blog post.
