Playing With New Makeup | Le Métier de Beauté, Bite Beauty, Sephora Collection

Playing With New Makeup
It seems like you guys really loved the first Playing With New Makeup video, so I'm going to make it a regular thing on my channel! I think I'll be recording these videos instead of doing a standard makeup haul where I just talk about the products. I figured that this is 10x more helpful than a haul since you actually get to see how the products perform and look on my face. This time around I'm going to be playing with the highly anticipated Bite Beauty Multisticks and a pricey quad from Le Métier de Beauté. I will be walking you through a tutorial just like I did last time and talking a bit about each product along the way.

Milk Makeup Holographic Stick Tutorial

Milk Makeup Holographic Stick Tutorial
The Milk Makeup Holographic Stick in Supernova is easily one of my favorite makeup launches this year. You may remember my review on the Holographic Stick that I posted a few months ago, but today I'm going to be showing you a very simple tutorial incorporating the iridescent lavender highlight that I've been loving so damn much. I honestly never thought that I would go for a more funky highlight, but the Holographic Stick is surprisingly very wearable! You can use it to highlight your face, as an eyeshadow, and you can even apply a little on your lips to give them an icy look. Apart from using the Holographic Stick, I'm also going to be using a few new Milk Makeup products in this video.

May 2015 Favorites

May Favorites
It's the end of the month and you know what time it is? It's May favorites time! This monthly favorites video is a bit different to the others I've recorded in the past. First of all, this video is part of a collab with four of my YouTube friends: Bon Parisien, Jonathan Curtis, Will Cook, and Sammee Jayne. Second, in this video I will be sharing some of my favorite natural and cruelty-free products. All but one product is cruelty-free and the majority of the products are incredibly affordable. If you're interested in seeing what I've been loving and all the other videos in the collab please keep reading.

Falling In Love With Cream Blush

Falling In Love With Cream Blush
There was once a time that I really disliked cream blush. I thought that I couldn't make them work with my very oily skin, but things have changed a lot recently. I've transformed myself from a cream blush hater to a full-fledged cream blush addict! As the air is becoming dryer and my skin isn't as oily, I've been turning to cream blush to add a natural flush of color to my cheeks. What changed my mind about cream blush? The application. I really did not know how to apply cream blushes before I discovered this magical tool, and the best thing is that the tool is only $3. In this blog post you'll discover some cream blush tips and some product recommendations. You never know, you might become a bonafide cream blush lover just like myself!

Color Scheme | Peach

All About Peach You might be wondering why I'm posting about peach colored makeup as we head into the fall but when it comes to makeup I'm not one that follows the "rules." Peach makeup is flattering year round so I decided to dedicate a blog post entirely to my favorite peachy colored items in my makeup collection. There's some great blush options options that will pair very nicely with a cat eye. Peachy nudes lip products are the perfect companion to a dark smokey eye. And if you're looking to try out any dark lipsticks this fall, then a soft peachy eyeshadow will let your lips be the main attraction. Peaches might not be in season at the moment but the following products are definitely very fresh.

Top 5 Drugstore Face Products

Top 5 Drugstore Face Products
Today I have even more drugstore products to share with you! In the latest installment of my "top 5" series I'll be sharing with you some of my favorite face products found at your local drugstore. I tried to pick products that I haven't spoken about before or that haven't been in another top 5 video. If you're from a European country, don't worry because I have you covered! I made sure to include some items that I know are available in certain European drugstores in my list.

April 2014 Favorites

April Favorites
This monthly favorites is certainly a colorful one as you can tell from the picture above. If there is a theme for this month's favorites it would definitely be low-maintenance products. All the makeup bits that I've been loving recently are not only colorful but very fuss-free. Since the weather has been getting quite hot lately I've been opting for things that are quick, simple, and look very natural on my skin. I also have to share with you some of my favorite skincare items because there's a few stuff that have been really helping me combat my oily skin.

Review | Flower Beauty Kiss Me Twice Lip & Cheek Chubby

Flower Beauty Kiss Me Twice Lip & Cheek Chubby
I used to avoid cream blushes at all costs due to my oily skin, but recently I've found some great options  at the drugstore that every skin type can enjoy. During my latest trip to Walmart I encountered the new lip and cheek chubbies from Flower Beauty which is Drew Barrymore's makeup line. Flower Beauty is a very unique makeup line because they pride themselves in using high quality ingredients, they don't test on animals, and they don't spend money on advertising. Instead of spending millions of dollars in advertising campaigns they just focus on creating new products which is almost unheard of in the beauty industry.

Face of the Day | The Bare Minimum

As much as I love makeup there's just days that I feel a little too lazy to do something intricate. Whether you have to go to school, run errands, or have the perfect opportunity to film a video- sometimes you just have to put your laziness aside and slap some makeup on. Today was one of those days that I felt like doing the bare minimum on my face in order to film a video because my house was completely quiet. This look requires little time, your fingers, and a bright lip to liven up your face.

Face of the Day | The Beauty of Simplicity

There was once a time that colored eyeshadow and smokey eyes used to be my go-to looks, even for school. When I first started getting into makeup I figured I could apply almost any color on my face, so I did. Looking back at those pictures aren't necessarily embarrassing, but I do wish I could have taken it easy with Electric Eel (an eyeshadow that I bought just because of MGTM's song Electric Feel). Nowadays I have learned to embrace more neutral looks that enhance some of my features. Hopefully this will be a stage in my life that I look back upon and think "I looked nice," instead of "WHOA, BLUE EYESHADOW!"

The Concealer Roundup

If you'd tell me that I could only choose 5 makeup products to own for the rest of my life one of them would certainly be a concealer. Concealers aren't just for covering up blemishes anymore. Some illuminate, others cover up redness, and then there are others that even treat darkness. Concealers can easily be used to give you the appearance that you actually got 8 hours of sleep, or that you have flawless skin.

November Favorites

Yet another month has come and gone, and now we're in December! We're only days away from my birthday and Christmas which is insane to even think about. This month I've decided to make my monthly favorite videos short because I tend to ramble on and on about products and stories. All of the items featured are from the drugstore which wasn't my intention but 2013 has honestly become the year of drugstore product for me. The drugstore has been kicking some serious ass this year!
