Soooo last year I sucked when it came to YouTube and I completely neglected my Birchbox series, despite the fact that they're the easiest videos to film. All I do is open the box and react to the five samples I get. I don't really know why I wasn't filming these videos when I received a whole year's worth of samples, but we're now in 2018! This year I'm bringing back the unboxings because I find them very fun to film.

Top 10 Black Friday Beauty Deals
This is my 3rd year sharing my Black Friday beauty deals, but this year I've done things a little different. Instead of posting random deals and coupon codes, I've rounded up 10 of my favorite beauty websites and shared what I like to think are the best deals. There are some steep discounts on high-end skincare and makeup in this post (I'm talking 25% off Sunday Riley if you play your cards right). And just like always I've added the Ebates cash back rate if the website is offering cash back. If you're not already a member of Ebates, like seriously where have you been? The website is completely free and it's very easy to use online, through the phone app, and also in select physical stores. With just a few clicks of your mouse you'll be able to earn cash back on most of your Black Friday and Cyber Monday purchases. I honestly advise you to get your credit cards and PayPal accounts ready because the savings are coming your way!

Birchbox and Walmart Beauty Unboxing
New year, same old subscription boxes. The two boxes that I'm still going to continue subscribing to are the Walmart Beauty Box and Birchbox. I've been very happy with both of those subscriptions, so you're going to continue to see me unbox them and share the products that I'm going to be trying out. I think when it comes down to value, both subscription services just get it right. You can't beat spending $5 for the Walmart Beauty Box, especially when the samples are extremely generous and you often receive coupons. And if you want to branch out and try other luxe brands, then Birchbox is definitely the subscription box for you.

Birchbox November 2016
Birchbox October 2016
Fall is here and Birchbox has me completely covered! This month's theme was reviving and restoring products, which is absolutely perfect for me since the air in San Diego has been drying my skin quite a bit. I was very excited when I saw a Tata Harper product as a sample choice, so I went ahead and got it. I feel like I've been hearing a lot about Tata Harper skincare products a lot as of late, so you can imagine how excited I am to see if her products live up to the hype. I also got a product from a brand that I've been very curious about in this month's box.
Birchbox September 2016
Happy Anniversary, Birchbox! The company is celebrating their 6th year helping women and men discover new brands and products. To celebrate their anniversary, Birchbox teamed up with Milk Makeup (my fave brand at the moment) to give each subscriber one Milk Makeup product. You can only imagine how happy I was about this! Not only did they team up with one of my favorite brands, but Birchbox decided to throw in some very generous sized samples in this month's box. I know I've said this before, but I think this may be the best Birchbox I've ever gotten. I'm not even kidding, it was GOOD!
Birchbox August 2016
Birchbox has been absolutely killing it! This is the happiest I've ever been with a subscription service and you guys know that I've tried a few. I find that the Birchbox profile and review feedback determine the absolute best samples for each person, and because of that it's very rare when I get a product that I just end up disliking. I do have to say that Birchbox samples tend to be more on the luxe side, which does suck a bit because I sometimes don't have the money to spend $40 on a hair product or $70 on a face mask. But regardless, I still think it's a ton of fun to try out different products and I personally love how many natural brands Birchbox carries on their boxes and website.
Birchbox July 2016
Birchbox honestly keeps getting better and better! I feel like I just keep repeating myself month after month and at this point I know that I sound like a broken record, but I am really happy with Birchbox so far. This month's box not only looked incredibly adorable, but they sent some really great hair samples for curly hair. Now I've received many hair related samples in the past, but this was the first time I've ever gotten something specifically for my hair type. I also got an extra item in this box and a full-sized item! A bonus item AND a full-sized item? Birchbox is going to give this girl a heart attack.
Birchbox June 2016
This is now that sixth Birchbox that I've received, so that means that I've been officially subscribed for half a year! I have to be completely honest with you and say that I've been really happy with my Birchbox subscription so far. I have really enjoyed the variety products I've received, the option to choose a sample each month, the boxes themselves, and the Birchbox point system. This month's sample choice was the newly repackaged Benefit Gimme Brow which I've never tried before. And I also received a very exciting item in June's box that I had been wanting to try out for the longest time! Clue: It's perhaps the most hyped about hair product within the blogosphere.
Birchbox May 2016
The last two Birchbox boxes were absolutely incredible! They included some of the best selection of samples that I've ever received in a subscription service, so you can imagine how excited I was to open up the May Birchbox. This month's box was made in collaboration with Keds and inside of every box was a sunscreen sample. I got around to actually choosing my SPF sample and I went with the very innovative Supergoop! Sun Defying Sunscreen Oil which is supposed to be a very moisturizing broad-spectrum SPF. I don't know if everyone gets as excited about SPF as I do, but it's such an important step in my skincare routine.
April 2016 Favorites
April was the month that I embraced some of my most minimal makeup looks. There were a few days that I would just add concealer, mascara, and a tinted lip balm. I've been switching my thicker foundations for light weight options and my matte liquid lipsticks for hydrating tinted balms. I also discovered two skincare items that have been helping out a lot on the problematic areas on my skin. I honestly didn't realize how many products were on heavy rotation this month until I gathered them all, but it should make for a good favorites video.

Birchbox April 2016
I don't think I've ever been as excited to receive a subscription box as I was with the April Birchbox. First of all the box itself was designed by Rifle Paper Co. which is an American stationery and lifestyle brand known for beautiful illustrations and stationery. I've been a fan of Rifle Paper Co. for over a year now and own various of their products, so when I first heard that they would be collaborating with Birchbox I knew the box would end up being displayed in my room. Another reason why I was so excited to receive this box was because this box included products from natural and ingredient conscious brands.
Birchbox March 2016
The March Birchbox is here! This time around I didn't even get to choose any of the samples or the curated box because everything sold out super quickly. Not going to lie, I was a little bummed out that I wasn't able to pick one of the 4 luxe hair samples but maybe that worked in my advantage. This month's box has to be the best Birchbox I've received to date! Not only is the box itself absolutely adorable, but I was super content with the six samples I received. Yes, I got six instead of the usual five.
Birchbox February 2016
It's time to open another Birchbox! In the month of February I found myself torn between the special curated box and their regular box. I ultimately ended up going with the regular box since one of the samples was a full-sized Color Enhancing Lip Balm by Birchbox's newest in-house brand, ARROW. The products from ARROW are designed for the woman on-the-go, so that means the products are versatile and very minimal. Look at me getting excited over a balm! Apart from the balm I still love the surprise element in monthly boxes, so that's why I went ahead and got this box. Now let's open it so you can check out what I got!
Birchbox January 2016
New year, new subscription service! This year I'll be opening Birchbox boxes with you on my channel and blog. I've heard lots of great things about the Birchbox service, as well as their rewards program so that's why I went ahead and subscribed to this. Plus a lot of the brands I love like Avène, theBalm, and Living Proof are sold on Birchbox! I was so pleased with my December box (which I unboxed on Snapchat), so let's check out what products I received in my January box.
First Impression | LOC (Love of Color) by Tati
If you don't know about Tati of Glam Life Guru, then what are you doing? In my opinion she's the most honest and trustworthy YouTube beauty vloggers out there. If you need an opinion about a new product from the drugstore or Sephora, then Tati is your go-to girl. With an incredible work ethic and an encyclopedia worth of beauty knowledge, it's no surprise that she finally came out with a range of beauty products. LOC (Love of Color) is Birchbox's first in house makeup line, and for the launch they teamed up with Tati to create a range of products that perform like luxury makeup but are incredibly affordable. Since I'm a huge fan of Tati I decided to pick up the Royal Flush Clutch Collection so I could get the chance to try out a little bit of everything and tell you what I think about her LOC (Love of Color) collection.
