New year, same old subscription boxes. The two boxes that I'm still going to continue subscribing to are the Walmart Beauty Box and Birchbox. I've been very happy with both of those subscriptions, so you're going to continue to see me unbox them and share the products that I'm going to be trying out. I think when it comes down to value, both subscription services just get it right. You can't beat spending $5 for the Walmart Beauty Box, especially when the samples are extremely generous and you often receive coupons. And if you want to branch out and try other luxe brands, then Birchbox is definitely the subscription box for you.

Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2016
Let me be completely honest with you and let you know that I was not too excited to unbox the fall Walmart Beauty Box. After the disappointing summer box and the disappearance of the spring box, there really wasn't much to be excited for. And I know the box is $5 but it takes time to record and edit even a simple unboxing video and that's time that I felt like I wasted when I opened the summer box. This time around everything went smoothly though, I got my email notifications and my box was shipped quite quickly. It seems like Walmart Beauty is getting their shit together and putting a bit more effort into their subscription service.

Walmart Summer 2016 Beauty Box
It's been half a year since my last Walmart Beauty Box unboxing. A long time, I know! I didn't cancel the box or anything, what happened was that my spring box never arrived. I never got an email indicating that my box had been shipped out or got money taken away- nothing. I have no idea what happened there but for some reason I just never got a spring box. Unless this is the spring box and it came a whole season late... Who knows, the orchid box is really throwing me off. And this box was perhaps the worst subscription box I've ever received.

December 2015 Ipsy Bag and Walmart Beauty Box
It's that time again, time to open up subscription boxes. This video is a bit different to others because I'll be opening two different subscription services in one video. The winter Walmart Beauty Box arrived not too long ago and it happened to be the box with the most samples and coupons that I've received from them. And then we have my very last Ipsy bag, which happened to also be the best one they sent me all year. I'm not too sad though because starting January I'll be opening Birchbox boxes on my channel!

Walmart Fall Beauty Box
It's official! I've been subscribed to the Walmart Beauty Box for a full year and this has to be the best box I've ever received. The number of deluxe samples and coupons in this box exceeded the $5 you spend on shipping and handling. I know I've mentioned in the past that it's by far the cheapest subscription box out there, but I also think that it's one of the most practical boxes out there. As someone who loves saving money, I really appreciate the fact that this box includes so many coupons. The coupons in this box would save you $13 on beauty and body care products which is pretty incredible if you ask me. So what exactly did I get in this box? You'll have to watch the video to find out.
Top 10 Subscription Box Products
It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of subscription boxes. I've recorded so many unboxing videos that I now have a playlist dedicated to subscription boxes. Yeah, my obsession is pretty bad but there's so much to love about these services! You get to try out new products, discover new brands, and build up your makeup collection for a fraction of the price. Not every product is a win in my book, but there has certainly been a lot of great products that I've received in subscription boxes. In this video I'll be running through the best products I've received so far from Ipsy, Boxycharm, Walmart Beauty, and Julep Maven boxes.

Walmart Summer Beauty Box
It's time for a brand new Walmart Beauty Box box! This time around we're going to take a look at the summer beauty box. In case you're new to my blog let me quickly explain this service to you: the Walmart Beauty Box is sent quarterly and it retails for $5, so you'll only be spending $20 a year on the subscription. This box happens to be one of my favorites because it's not only incredibly affordable, but it features a nice mix of products that are readily available and also very generous coupons. I have to say that the summer box happens to be one of my favorite Walmart Beauty boxes that I've received so far! The items I received in this box will definitely come in handy when I go up to San Francisco in a few weeks.
Walmart Spring Beauty Box
It's time for a brand new box! This time around we're going to take a look at the spring beauty box. With the Walmart Beauty Box you'll only be paying $5 for shipping, which means that the box is technically free. The box is sent quarterly so you'll only be spending $20 a year on the subscription, making it one of the most affordable services out there. I love getting to try new makeup brands but sometimes you have to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt to find where they're sold. What I love the best about this box is that it exposes me to new products that I can easily find at Walmart or any other drugstore.
Walmart Winter Beauty Box
I first spoke about the Walmart Beauty Box back in November and now it's time for a brand new box. With the Walmart Beauty Box you'll only be paying $5 for shipping, which means that the box is technically free. The box is sent quarterly so you'll only be spending $20 a year on the subscription, making it one of the most affordable services out there. I love getting to try new makeup brands but sometimes you have to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt to find where they are sold. What I love the best about this box is that it exposes me to new products that I can easily find at Walmart or any other drugstore.
Walmart Fall Beauty Box
The beauty boxes trend seems like it's not going to die anytime soon. By now we have a box for nearly everything so it's not surprising that the big chain stores want to get into the subscription box game. I first heard about the Walmart Beauty Box a few months ago when I saw Emily Noel's video about the service. She seemed pleased with the box so I decided to go ahead and purchase my own subscription. What really interested me about this subscription box was that I would be able to try out more affordable products that I can easily go to the store to pick up. As much as I love trying out new brands sometimes it's hard to find a physical store where you can go and see more of their products, so that's why I think the Walmart Beauty Box is an amazing concept.
