Orange is just one of those colors that people are really intimidated by because it's not often you see people wearing orange lipstick. I personally like sporting an orange lip but I do understand that it is an unusual color for some so that's why I'm going to show you how you can make orange lips more wearable. Berry Lipsticks for Fall

Although it may not feel like fall where I live, it is officially that time of the year when berry and plum hued lipsticks become acceptable in society. Let me be the first one to say that some trends are meant to be broken not followed, but darker makeup just goes hand in hand with cooler climate and longer nights. Whenever I think about spring and summer one things comes to mind- bright lipsticks! Bright shades of pink, coral, and orange look amazing during sunny days. I'm a little bit of a lipstick fanatic so it took a while to pick my favorite shades for the upcoming months.

Outfit of the Day | Thrifty Lady

On Saturday my family and I went to Tijuana to celebrate my dad's birthday. The fancy-ish dinner provided me with the perfect opportunity to wear some of the items I bought on Friday when I went thrifting with my boyfriend. I may dislike birthdays but if it requires me to dress up then I'm ok with them. What can I say? I'm a sucker for dressing up, even if I just feel like a derp pretending to be a lady.

Face of the day | Bordeaux lips

I decided to match my lips to my Bordeaux colored American Apparel Piqué shirt (which I own in 4 colors because they're incredibly comfortable). I decided to keep the rest of the face pretty neutral because I wanted the lips to be the star of the look. Another thing I did, was use some of the products I bought back in Paris. I had honestly forgot how lovely the Deborah Milano blush is and how it creates a nice flushed look. Alright, enough talking and let's get down to business!
