Get Unready With Me + Vain Pursuits Giveaway

Instead of putting makeup on, I'll be taking it off for you in today's video! I'm going to be sharing my evening skincare routine, as well as introduce you to the Canadian skincare company Vain Pursuits. Finding the right skincare product for your skin and lifestyle can sometimes be a hassle and what Vain Pursuits does is take away the guessing work. After taking an extensive survey the Vain Pursuits experts basically formulate three products based on your needs, lifestyle, and preferences. You will receive three samples with handwritten notes explaining what your item does and the ingredients. It is a very neat service with a lot of personal touches and an incredible attention to detail. MY BIGGEST HAUL EVER!

It is finally time for me to show you all of the things I hauled during December and January. I did quite a bit of damage but good thing both my birthday and Christmas are in December so I usually end up with quite a bit of shopping money by the time the sales begin. In this haul I have a little bit of everything from drugstore items, to beauty tools, and even some high end products. I'm a bit proud and ashamed at the same time at how many products I have in this beauty... can I use the whole "being a beauty blogger" excuse for this haul?

Berry Lipsticks for Fall

Although it may not feel like fall where I live, it is officially that time of the year when berry and plum hued lipsticks become acceptable in society. Let me be the first one to say that some trends are meant to be broken not followed, but darker makeup just goes hand in hand with cooler climate and longer nights. As a dark lipstick addict it was hard for me to come up with a list, but nevertheless I picked eight of my favorite shades that will make your lips become the envy of everyone.

Your Lips Are Red

Inspired by the St. Vincent song title, I've decided to dedicate a whole blog post to one of my absolute favorite lipstick shades. What's not to love about red lipstick? It's loud, powerful, and classic. Every woman looks absolutely beautiful with the right shade of red but I know that not everyone feels comfortable with such a loud shade on their lips, that's why I'll be sharing a variety finishes of red lipstick. I saw the 5 minute challenge around YouTube and decided to give it a go. When I was watching the videos I was like "Man, I can do this. It looks so easy!"
