Style Swap with Its Halo

If I had to describe my makeup style, I would say it's natural and very wearable. I like to keep things neutral so I can wear a bright coral or red lip. My friend Alo of Its Halo is the complete opposite from me, she loves color and lots of drama. I've been YouTube friends with her for over a year now and her looks always leave me with my jaw open. She's incredibly talented, creative, and not afraid to experiment with color. We've collaborated once before when we did the Decades Collab but we wanted to do another collab as bilingual YouTubers. She's one of the very few people I know that also does videos and blog posts in English and Spanish, so there's definitely a special connection right there. Ethereal Eyes with Ulta

Say hello to today's model, my mom. When I went to Ulta a few weeks ago, I was originally going to be the one modeling two of their five spring obsessions but I decided to switch things up last minute. My mom is a woman who has lived through many dramatic makeup eras. There was the overly bronzed 70's, the bright eyeshadows in the 80's, and don't forget about the dark lips in the 90's. For her age, my mom looks amazing but she doesn't like stepping out of her makeup comfort zone very much- even if trying something new will make her look more youthful. For that reason I had Angie try out the "ethereal eyes" trend on my mom, and let's just say that she thought she looked "waumaci" (wow + amazing). 

Chatty Makeup Tuturial using the Soothingsista x Memebox Palette

I've always enjoyed watching chatty makeup tutorials but have never actually filmed one because of how challenging it would be. In case you didn't know, I have two YouTube channels and two blogs in order to be a bilingual bloggers. That means that I do everything twice- yes, twice. A few days ago I was just in the mood to get ready and talk to the camera so I did that. Not going to lie, it was a pain to edit but I'm happy with the result. 1940's Makeup Tutorial

A few weeks ago Abby, one of the YouTubers that inspired me to start making videos, contacted me to see if I wanted to do a collab. The challenge: Create a video inspired by a decade. Since I have been told several times that my features remind them of old actresses/1940's style women, then I decided to do something inspired by the 1940's. In my newest tutorial I'm going to walk you through the look I created so you can achieve a very feminine and retro look yourself. Face of the Day | Copper and Green

You already saw the outfit I wore on this day, now I'm going to be showing you my makeup. I got the LORAC Pro Palette a few weeks ago after hearing about for over a year on YouTube. It was one of those products that looked very nice but I felt like I didn't need in my life. That was until I got a coupon from Ulta that allowed me to get the palette for a discounted price so I was like "why not?" Now I'm super glad that I made that purchase because so far I've been loving that palette. On this occasion I decided to play with two of the warmer shades in the palette to create a copper shade that provided the nicest contrast to a forest green sweater.
