Earlier this month I got the opportunity to attend the San Diego Style Bloggers meet up at Bottles & Wood. Due to my work schedule I haven't been able to attend many meet ups, so you can only imagine how happy I was when I saw that I could go to this. No more living vicariously through my Instagram feed! Well, at least not this time around. Not only was I excited to meet all the new faces popping up on the San Diego Style Bloggers' Instagram, but I really wanted to see how glass bottles are repurposed into jewelry, glassware, and home decor. As a bonus, we all got to make our own necklaces or earrings made out of various alcohol and soda bottles!

Fashion Brunch at the W Hotel
On Sunday I finally got to see some of my blogger friends and meet some new San Diego Style Bloggers members at the Fashion Brunch. The W Hotel in San Diego hosted a fabulous brunch filled with amazing food from their Kelvin Restaurant which included a delicious egg benedict and waffles with caramel drizzled on top. Over a year ago I attended my first blogger event at the W Hotel and it felt amazing to be back at the place where I met some of my friends for the first time. Not only was there good food but also very unique jewelry by two local artists which you will be introduced to in this blog post.

Emma Jane's 1-Year Anniversary!
Today is officially my blog's one year blogiversary! Take out the streamers, cupcakes, and champagne because today is a day to celebrate and why not celebrate with Emma Jane? You might remember Emma Jane from this blogger event back in November, but recently they celebrated their 1-year anniversary in their Mission Hills boutique. I went to the event to celebrate along with Jenn, Jess, and a couple of San Diego bloggers on Thursday evening.
Neiman Marcus The Spring 2014 Trends
On Wednesday morning I was invited to attend the blogger breakfast at Neiman Marcus in Fashion Valley. During the breakfast style advisor, Alex Yáñez, walked us through 10 trends that we'll be seeing this spring such as artistic prints, the pink lip, and summer booties. We saw some amazing pieces by some of the fashion powerhouses such as Stella McCartney, Givenchy, and Valentino.
Semi-Formal Holiday Outfits feat. Madewell
This week is holiday outfit and makeup ideas on my blog! Thank you so much for voting on the blog poll, I really love getting that kind of input from my readers. On Thursday a couple of bloggers were invited to attend a small blogger event at Madewell in La Jolla. As part of the event we had a challenge to come up with a couple of holiday outfits using some of their clothes and accessories. As you can imagine it was a very easy task because Madewell has a great variety of cute and classic pieces. I came up with two semi-formal outfits that are absolutely perfect for any Christmas dinner.
San Diego Style Bloggers Interview
Hi everyone! You all know by now that I'm a member of the San Diego Style Bloggers community and last week I got asked to become the first vlogger featured on the website and I said "YES!" I got asked a few questions regarding YouTube, my first video, vlogging vs. blogging, and how I handle the haters. Here's the link to the interview if you wish to read it. I would love to see some of my readers and subscribers go and leave a comment, I think that would be amazing. Also I would like to thank both my subscribers and my readers for all the support. I recently reached 500 subscribers on YouTube and now have 400 Facebook likes and Instagram followers which just blows my mind. Thank you so much for everything, it honestly means so much to me.
Let me know what you thought of the interview in the comments below. I'd love to hear what you thought of it.
