December 2015 Ipsy Bag and Walmart Beauty Box

It's that time again, time to open up subscription boxes. This video is a bit different to others because I'll be opening two different subscription services in one video. The winter Walmart Beauty Box arrived not too long ago and it happened to be the box with the most samples and coupons that I've received from them. And then we have my very last Ipsy bag, which happened to also be the best one they sent me all year. I'm not too sad though because starting January I'll be opening Birchbox boxes on my channel!

November 2015 Ipsy Bag Opening

All good things must come to an end and that's the way I feel about my Ipsy subscription. While I've enjoyed the bags a lot throughout the time I've been subscribed, I just want to explore other subscription services. I'm still not sure which service I'm going to end up trying out, but I'm leaning towards Birchbox or Petit Vour. Before I cancel my Ipsy bag I decided to go all out and order the best item with all the points that I accumulated. When I say it's good, I really mean it. This month's bag was also quite good, but not as good as the item I got with my points.

October 2015 Ipsy Bag Opening

The last two Ipsy bags were not the most exciting bags, in fact they made me doubt the service a little. For two months straight I got two items from the same category which kind of defeats the purpose of a subscription bag in my opinion. I like getting a variety of products and brands in subscription services, that way I can get exposed to new things. This month's bag definitely renewed my excitement for Ipsy's monthly service. I got a great selection of products to try out, and as a bonus all the products that I received this month happen to be cruelty-free. September 2015 Ipsy Bag Opening

This past weekend was the Kaaboo music festival in San Diego, and although I don't have much of a voice I still sat down to open my Ipsy bag with you. My bag this month arrived very late into the month but I have to say that the bag was overall a big hit with me. The bag itself is also quite nice and gooooold (you know how much I love gold). Oh, and I got repeat items this month too! Last month I got two eyeliners and this month I guess I needed two body lotions. Thanks Ipsy!

August 2015 Ipsy Bag Opening

I am back from San Francisco with a brand new video! Not going to lie I'm still pretty tired and I'm not feeling too well, but after a little week off break I felt like posting something on YouTube. I did some recording in San Francisco but I just wanted something quick and fun to record- hence the August Ipsy bag video. Since it's back to school season, this month's Ipsy bag has a preppy theme. Will this bag get an A or will it fail? Also, why did I get two eyeliners in one bag? You'll have to watch the video to find out.

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of subscription boxes. I've recorded so many unboxing videos that I now have a playlist dedicated to subscription boxes. Yeah, my obsession is pretty bad but there's so much to love about these services! You get to try out new products, discover new brands, and build up your makeup collection for a fraction of the price. Not every product is a win in my book, but there has certainly been a lot of great products that I've received in subscription boxes. Back-to-back subscription box videos? What is this world coming to? Well I wasn't planning on filming this Ipsy video, but my other video didn't quite turn out as planned so I took advantage of the fact that my Ipsy bag had arrived that same day. This month's bag is not only incredibly bright, but it also includes a bunch of new brands that I've never heard of which is very exciting for a makeup addict like myself. June 2015 Ipsy Bag Opening

It's that time again! It's time for me to sit down in front of my camera and open yet another Ipsy bag. As simple as these videos are, I really enjoy filming them. I love how casual they are and I have to admit that I enjoy getting surprised by the products in the bag. This month's theme is "Swim Into Beauty" which is meant to include waterproof and summer-ready products. Will the bag live up to the greatness of the May bag? There's only one way to find out!

Generation Beauty Haul + Review

On Saturday I was able to attend Ipsy's Generation Beauty event thanks to Pacifica. I got asked if I wanted to attend and of course I said YES! I was so excited to drive up to Los Angeles and see what the event was all about. There were so many brand booths and products to check out, it was like a makeup lover's paradise. In this video I will be sharing a mini vlog about the event, so you can see what it was like. I will also show you all the products that I bought and received at the event, trust me there was a bunch of makeup being handed out. And finally I will also share my opinion about the event, just in case any of you are interested in attending next year's event. Warning: This is a long video so grab yourself a drink and snack!

May 2015 Ipsy Bag Opening

I've you've seen my Ipsy bag openings, then you would know that I've always been very happy about the subscription services. There has been a few products that haven't worked out, but the bag as a whole has never disappointed me. This month's bag was by far the most exciting bag that I've ever received from Ipsy. I swear I felt like the Nintendo 64 kid as I was opening this bag, I just can't help but get a little too excited over makeup and skincare.

April 2015 Ipsy Bag Opening

I skipped last month's Ipsy bag opening but I'm back with the April bag! This was one of my favorite bags that I've received from the subscription service. Not only was the physical bag very nice, but the products inside were also incredibly nice. I feel like subscription services have really stepped up their game in the last few months, and I have zero complaints about that.

Ipsy February 2015 Bag

I've tried a few monthly beauty subscriptions and no service has made me happier than Ipsy. I feel like they offer such a great variety of both affordable and high end makeup, beauty tools, and also skin care items. So far I haven't been disappointed with Ipsy and this February bag had to be one of the best. Psssst... don't tell my previous bags but this one has to be my favorite. Ipsy Bag and Julep Maven Unboxing

I have the mother of all unboxing videos this December! My November Ipsy bag arrived in late November due to a shipping problem, so I decided to just open it along with the December bag. Little did I know my Julep Maven would arrived alongside the Ipsy bag, so then I had the idea to just open all of them in one video. Spoiler alert: I was super happy with everything! Julep currently has some amazing nail polish colors at the moment that are definitely worth checking out. My First Ipsy Bag

This post is going up extremely late but last week I was so busy with work that I didn't get the chance to upload this until now. I recently joined Ipsy after seeing so many videos and Instagram posts about it. I've had both good and bad experiences with subscription services in the past, but I wanted to give one of the most popular subscription services a shot. Ipsy is a company which was started by Michelle Phan and each month subscribers receive a bag with deluxe samples/full-sized items tailored to their needs and interests. The bag is only $10 a month so I said "why not?" In this video I'll be showing you what I got in my very first Ipsy bag.
