Contouring with Ulta

Contouring with Ulta
I'll be the first to tell you that I'm not the best when it comes to contouring. I can bronze up my face without a problem, but defining and creating shadows doesn't come naturally for me. Contouring is one of the biggest trends of 2015, so when Ulta reached out to me about creating a video about one of their five spring obsessions I knew that I wanted to learn how to contour my face. Angie, one of the prestige brand managers in San Diego, guided me along my contour journey and showed me how to contour with both cream and powder products. Let's just say that I'm no longer intimidated by a little contouring.

Falling In Love With Cream Blush

Falling In Love With Cream Blush
There was once a time that I really disliked cream blush. I thought that I couldn't make them work with my very oily skin, but things have changed a lot recently. I've transformed myself from a cream blush hater to a full-fledged cream blush addict! As the air is becoming dryer and my skin isn't as oily, I've been turning to cream blush to add a natural flush of color to my cheeks. What changed my mind about cream blush? The application. I really did not know how to apply cream blushes before I discovered this magical tool, and the best thing is that the tool is only $3. In this blog post you'll discover some cream blush tips and some product recommendations. You never know, you might become a bonafide cream blush lover just like myself!

Tutorial | Simple & Quick Makeup

Simple & Quick Makeup
As much as I love makeup sometimes I just don't have the time to just sit there and blend out 4 different eyeshadows. I am a girl who loves sleeping so I'll gladly trade some makeup time for more sleep. This is a makeup tutorial for those of you who don't have a lot of time in the morning to create an intricate look for school, work, or a lunch with your friends. Most of the products I used are from the drugstore so it will be super easy to recreate. Also, I did things a little different in this tutorial but you'll have to watch it to find out.

Sunkissed Summer Tag

Sunkissed Summer Tag
My friend Siri from Norway recently tagged me to film the Sunkissed Summer Tag! While I'm not the biggest fan of summer I still decided to film this tag because it's a really fun tag. There's a lot of summer related questions, product recommendations, and two ice cream flavors that I would die to have. There's a little bit of everything all wrapped up into one little tag video.

Review | Stila Ready For Take Off Moisturizing Cleansing Cloths

Stila Ready For Take Off Moisturizing Cleansing Cloths
For a couple of months I had completely banned makeup removing wipes from my routine, but now that I've found myself more tired I have been relying on them more and more. Washing your face every night is ideal, but I have to be completely honest with you and tell you that sometimes I'm just too lazy. Completing my full skincare routine takes a few minutes and so when I come back home exhausted from work I just don't feel like spending that time on myself, I just want to go to sleep. I've been trying a few makeup removing wipes these past few months and I ran across these ones by Stila at a recent trip to Nordstrom Rack. I have only tried Stila makeup so I became incredibly intrigued by their skincare line and decided to put the most practical item to the test.

Eyeliner in 4 Ways

Eyeliner can be a tough skill to acquire because if you have a shaky hand you'll end up with a very squiggly line. I remember how bad my eyeliner would look when I first started getting into makeup. I would try to make one smooth line and would end up having to go wider and wider to cover up my mistakes, until I was left with an Amy Winehouse eyeliner. What if I told you applying eyeliner is not that hard? In my latest video I'm going to show you four different ways that you can line your eye.
