The 'Me Time' Tag

The 'Me Time' tag is a tag video created by two of my favorite London-based bloggers, Estée of Essiebutton and Amelia of Amelia Liana. The tag revolves about everything and anything related to relaxing, which is something that I haven't done much of due to work. I have been getting tagged to do this video for the past few weeks so I filmed it during one of my now rare 'me time' days. Music Festival Makeup Bag

It's time for me to pack up some of my beauty arsenal and take them along with me to San Francisco. And yes, this is me packing light. When it comes to makeup I will usually take a lot on a trip because I like having options, but this time I'm just taking things that are practical. I would like to state that Outside Lands is not Coachella, the weather is much cooler and it's not held in the desert so I feel like I can get away with more makeup there. The products that I'm taking along with me are easy to use, multitasking, and compact. I'm going to stop talking now and present you my music festival makeup bag.

Warm weather is upon us and if you live in San Diego it means that it already feels like summer. You all know by now that I don't like hot weather, but since there is really nothing that I can do about the weather I just have to step up my skincare routine. March 2014 Favorites

Are you ready for the monthly favorites cliché? Ok, here we go... March went by so fast! I honestly can't believe how fast it went by. I swear that time has just flown by since I started blogging last year. One minute I'm hauling things, the other I'm featuring them on monthly favorites. That's just the way things go around here. This month I don't have too many things to show you but I just noticed that the majority of the things are matte. Matte finishes are usually associated with fall and winter, but I feel like I should declare that matte is officially in for spring!

Haul | Shopping Local, Zara, and Vinyl Records

One of my new year's resolutions was to shop local. So much of my money goes towards big companies that honestly don't need my money, so this year I've decided that I want to support local businesses more. Often they have very unique items, brands that you already know, and these local businesses add so much character and life that the bigger stores don't have. I recently went to two local businesses in San Diego to get a couple of things. Sadly this will be the last haul for a couple of months but this whole "no shopping" thing will be worth it! You'll have to watch the video to find out why I won't be doing hauls.
