Glasses have come such a long way since I started wearing them 8 years ago. I remember when my parents would spend over $150 on my frames and prescription lenses. Regular glasses were not cheap and fashionable glasses were even more expensive. Last year I was introduced to the world of affordable eyewear and I learned that you don't have to pay much to get good quality and fashionable glasses. When I was asked by SelectSpecs.com if I wanted to review a pair of glasses from their budget friendly line I said yes! And when I say budget friendly I mean that these glasses won't cost more than $45 with prescription... I know it sounds crazy but it's true. If you're a glasses wearer then you won't want to miss this review.

SelectSpecs.com is an online store where you can find anything for your glasses needs! There are designer glasses, budget friendly glasses, contact lenses, sunglasses, etc. They make searching for glasses really easy because you can just search by price range. You'll notice that they have a really great selection of glasses that are only $10 and $14.50. The glasses I ended up getting are the Savannah Animal Print frames which are very different to the other glasses that I own. The glasses with prescription and lens coating ended up costing $24.56. I repeat $24.56 for the frames, prescription lenses, anti-reflection coat, UV coat, and the scratch resistant coat. All the different coatings are completely free! I was completely blown away because normally you get charged for everything.

As for the glasses I was really happy with the quality. They certainly don't feel cheap nor look cheap. I like how study they feel and when I have them on I don't have them going down my nose since they're not too heavy. Ever since I started wearing them I've been getting lots of compliments on them, even at Lucky Fabb! I had the lovely girls at the Spectacular Is (a glasses blog) stop me to take a picture of my glasses. They were a hit at Lucky Fabb and how can you not like them? They are super fun frames!

No review would be complete without some criticism. While I was extremely happy with the glasses, the international shipping was not so great. It took me a little over a month to receive the frames which is a little too long in my opinion. The glasses were stuck in New York for days, probably because of customs. If you are in urgent need of glasses then be aware that it'll take a while to receive them if you order SelectsSpecs.com. If these are your backup glasses or just another pair in your ever growing collection then this will only be a minor inconvenience.

Overall I was really happy with the SelectsSpecs.com. The website makes ordering glasses extremely easy and I love how affordable their budget friendly glasses are. I will highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new pair of glasses.
