Here is the second Warby Parker blog post recapping all the sunglasses I got to try! If you're new to my blog, I've taken various pictures of me wearing Warby Parker frames in the past so people can have an easier time choosing a frame to purchase or add to their home try-on box. You can check out all the blog posts here. In this Warby Parker post I'll be talking about the eye-catching Quimby frames!

Review | Mario Badescu Cucumber Cleansing Lotion

Mario Badescu Cucumber Cleansing Lotion Review
The Mario Badescu Cucumber Cleansing Lotion (previously known as the Special Cucumber Lotion) is a toner for oily and acne prone skin. It is supposed to deep clean your skin to remove pore clogging residue. This toner also promises to get rid of any acne causing bacteria which sounds great for someone who often breaks out. What attracted me to this toner was the fact that it has cucumber which is known to have hydrating and anti-inflammatory properties. I've been testing out this toner for a few weeks now so I can let you know how it worked on my very oily and acne prone skin.

July 2014 Favorites

July Favorites
I can't believe that July is now over! This past month just flew by to the point that it almost felt like June and July were one long month. July was an extremely busy month for me, when I wasn't at work I was working on my blog at home so essentially I had little to no free time. In July a lot of my favorite beauty products were easy to use and very low maintenance which was great for all those busy days. Also in this video I'll be sharing my first "un-favorite" ever! Let's just say that I really really don't want you to spend your money on a certain beauty tool.

July 2014 Playlist

The Outside Lands music festival is in exactly two weeks! I can't believe that in two weeks I'll be back in San Francisco doing the whole festival thing once again. To commemorate such an exciting event I decided to do the same thing as last year and feature some artists and bands that I'm excited to see at Outside Lands in the July playlist. In this playlist I included one of my all-time favorite bands, some artists I've loved since high school, and then some newer additions to my music library. This is also the first Outside Lands related blog post, I promise there will be a lot more to come!

The Summer Fashion Haul

Summer Fashion Haul
Here is part 2 of my mini haul week over on my YouTube channel. Thank to the summer sales I've been able to find a bunch of great wardrobe staples for a fraction of the price. I've picked up a lot of striped items, basic shirts, and even some very versatile sandals which I'm probably going to keep wearing until late fall. This fashion haul is unlike my other hauls I've done in the past because instead of trying to describe the item I'm actually going to show you how each of the items looks on me.

Warby Parker | Jasper Marine Slate

Warby Parker Jasper Marine Slate
I'm going to begin another round of Warby Parker blog posts! If you're new to my blog, I've taken various pictures of me wearing Warby Parker frames in the past so people can have an easier time choosing a frame to purchase or add to their home try-on box. You can check out all the blog posts here. I'm going to kick off round 4 of Warby Parker posts with the sunglasses I just bought. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the Jasper!

Face of the Day | Rose Hues

Face of the Day Rose Hues
Whenever I would see rose eyeshadows my mind would immediately think "I can't wear pink, it's going to make me look sick." While everyone and their mothers were raving about the Naked 3 palette, I was avoiding it at all cost. In my efforts to incorporate more color into my makeup routine, I decided to finally step into the world of pink and warm colored hues. I have to say I was very surprised by the outcome and even more when I saw that these eyeshadows managed to do something very cool to my eyes. After sporting this look it's safe to say that I won't be avoiding these colors anymore.

The Big Summer Beauty Haul

The Big Summer Beauty Haul
Guess who's been shopping? This girl right here! My biggest problem with having a job is knowing that I have money to go shopping with. It happens every time I have a job but I felt like getting one last beauty haul up before I go on my makeup ban. Yes, that's going to happen real soon. In this haul you'll get a good mix of drugstore and high end products, and even some very interesting stuff from Mexico.

Review | L'Oréal Magic Nude Liquid Powder

L'Oréal Magic Nude Liquid Powder review
I've talked about this foundation in a monthly favorites video and have even mentioned it in a few blog posts, but I think it's time for me to review it. The L'Oréal Magic Nude Liquid Powder was unlike anything at the drugstore when it first hit the shelves back in the fall of 2013. I had not heard about it when it came out but I was immediately intrigued by the concept of a liquid powder so I decided to give it a go. This foundation promises to give you the ultimate natural look and transform to a powder finish on contact.

Nails of the Day | Clashing Colors

Clashing Colors
During my recent quick trip to Walmart I was wandering around the makeup aisles (as always) when these two colors caught my eye. I don't need any more nail polish but I just couldn't just pass up on these fun and vibrant shades. I've been keeping my nails very basic with one nail polish pretty much all summer, but today I switched it up by wearing not one but two bright colors. The results are bright and in your face but I think I can get away with clashing nail polish colors during summer.

Growing Out My Pixie Cut- Month 4

Growing Out A Pixie Cut
I refuse to believe that is has been four months since I decided to grow out my hair. It's crazy how fast time has gone by since I started documenting my hair growth. And talking about hair growth there was a lot of that going on this past month! I now get to start wearing hair clips and I can even tie the back section of my hair into a little ponytail. This whole growing out process has been pretty fun to be honest, I know a lot of girls have hated the process but I've become really fascinated with hair growth.

Review | Lip Monthly

Lip Monthly Review
By now I should just introduce myself as Laura "I buy too many lip products" Neuzeth. I was so happy when I heard that someone thought of doing a subscription box for lip product junkies like myself but this particular service has been receiving a lot of mixed reviews. I went to their website to find out more about them and was instantly greeted by red flags, then went to YouTube to look for reviews and found a lot of mixed thoughts about Lip Monthly. Despite the reviews I decided to pick up a box for me to review and let you know if this monthly subscription service is worth checking out or not.

Natural Summer Beauty
Less is definitely more when it comes to summer beauty, and especially if you're going to be heading out to the pool or beach. There's absolutely no need for a full face of makeup when you're going to be out having fun under the sun. I've teamed up with Walgreens and #CollectiveBias to bring you this summer beauty edition of #WalgreensBeauty. The key to a summer beauty look is simplicity and I'll only be using the following coral colored beauty products for today's natural beauty look.

Fashion Brunch at the W Hotel

Fashion Brunch at the W Hotel
On Sunday I finally got to see some of my blogger friends and meet some new San Diego Style Bloggers members at the Fashion Brunch. The W Hotel in San Diego hosted a fabulous brunch filled with amazing food from their Kelvin Restaurant which included a delicious egg benedict and waffles with caramel drizzled on top. Over a year ago I attended my first blogger event at the W Hotel and it felt amazing to be back at the place where I met some of my friends for the first time. Not only was there good food but also very unique jewelry by two local artists which you will be introduced to in this blog post.

The SPF Roundup

The SPF Roundup
I don't fool around when it comes to protecting my skin. Everytime I step outside my home I make sure that any exposed skin is protected. Everything from my eyelids to my feet get some form of SPF applied to them. I think everyone should start incorporating SPF into their routines, but especially those of us who sunburn really easily like myself. I've even gone as far as to carry a sunscreen with me at all times so I can reapply when necessary. In this blog post I'll be sharing with you all the sunscreen above SPF 30 that I own and I'll be telling you a little bit about each one of them.

Warby Parker Sunglasses

Warby Parker Sunglasses
I have been wearing glasses for a little over 8 years now and I've never had prescription sunglasses. I'm always squinting to try and block the sun, or using sunglasses and seeing everything blurry. I am finally going to give in and buy prescription sunglasses from my favorite eyeglass company, Warby Parker. In this video I will show you the five frames and talk a little bit about them. I also need your help because I'm undecided and need to purchase the sunglasses real soon!

Foundations for Oily Skin

Foundations for Oily Skin
I get a lot of questions regarding foundations for oily skin since I've been very outspoken about having extremely oily skin. Finding a foundation for your skin type is pretty easy nowadays because there are so many brands (both in the drugstore and high-end) trying to cater to everyone's needs. Sometimes foundations will list the ideal skin type such as the Revlon ColorStay foundation, but other times you have to look for key words. When shopping for a foundation for your oily skin look out for the following words: matte, powder, or shine control. In today's blog post I'm going to go through a few of my foundations intended of us oily skin girls out there.

Review | Stila Ready For Take Off Moisturizing Cleansing Cloths

Stila Ready For Take Off Moisturizing Cleansing Cloths
For a couple of months I had completely banned makeup removing wipes from my routine, but now that I've found myself more tired I have been relying on them more and more. Washing your face every night is ideal, but I have to be completely honest with you and tell you that sometimes I'm just too lazy. Completing my full skincare routine takes a few minutes and so when I come back home exhausted from work I just don't feel like spending that time on myself, I just want to go to sleep. I've been trying a few makeup removing wipes these past few months and I ran across these ones by Stila at a recent trip to Nordstrom Rack. I have only tried Stila makeup so I became incredibly intrigued by their skincare line and decided to put the most practical item to the test.

The Beauty Scenario Tag

The Beauty Scenario Tag
I got tagged by two of my friends to do the Beauty Scenario tag and here's the video. In this tag I'm going to answer 8 questions that deal with makeup and hair. There's a question about getting the wrong haircut and one about what you would do different if you could back to your teenage years. I made sure to make this video interesting by actually showing you my hair and makeup mistakes of the past so you can see how much I've changed. So without further ado, here's the Beauty Scenario Tag!

Makeup Swap with Bon Parisien

Makeup Swap with Bon Parisien
First off, happy 4th of July to all my American readers! Today I have a USA-France makeup swap with my good friend Bon Parisien who lives in Paris. I sent him a box full of makeup that he can't get in France and he sent me some French and Italian products that I can't find here. Let's just say I was ecstatic and might have freaked a bit in the video. What can I say? I get really excited with makeup.

Review | Almay Intense i-Color Powder Shadow Trios

Almay Intense i-Color Powder Shadow Trios
2014 has been the year that I've fallen in love with Almay. I went from only using their mascara (which is great by the way) to trying everything from eyeliner to lip balms. Almay has certainly impressed me a lot this year, so I think it's about time that I review a product that I've been raving about since May. If you want smooth, pigmented, and easy to wear eyeshadows then you should really check out the Almay Intense i-Color Powder Shadow Trios.

June 2014 Favorites

June 2014 Favorites
Half of 2014 is now gone and it's now time for yet another monthly favorites video. This month I got to try out a lot of great new products and also rediscover a few oldies. I really enjoyed things that made my makeup routine a lot quicker and easier since I did start working in June. A lot of the products featured in this video also have reviews either on my blog or YouTube channel so I will link you to those in case you're interested in learning more about them.

Day to Night in 5 Easy Steps

Day to Night in 5 Easy Steps
Sometimes we don't have the time to head back home after school or work to get yourself ready. I've been in that position plenty of times but you can easily update your look in a few easy steps. All you're going to need are a few things that will easily fit in your bag or car and a couple of minutes. And don't pretend like you've never done your makeup or tried to change your clothes in the car, we've all done that at one point.
