When I arrived to the store there were people lined up around the corner just to come inside! There was also live music outside from a local high school which you may have heard if you follow me on Snapchat (you'll also see it in an upcoming #snapvlog). Let me tell you, people were so excited about the Daiso opening! You had people of all ages and nationalities shopping during the grand opening festivities.
Need some fake flowers for your house or blog photos? Daiso has plenty of them! There's also an amazing selection of items that are perfect for DIY home decor.
As a beauty blogger and addict, you can only image how excited I was to check out the beauty section. There's about 3 aisles dedicated to makeup, skincare, body care, and everything beauty/health related. I picked up some sheet masks (a must at Asian stores) and a surprisingly great mascara which I'll have to blog about very soon!
Looking for acrylic containers to hold your beauty products? These ones I found would be great to hold primers, foundations, and even nail polishes. You can also find other plastic containers which would work great for makeup storage.
Who else has a washi tape addiction like me? There was such a great selection of washi tape at this Daiso including a roll of tape with a bunch of little characters from European cities. Whether you're simply into collecting cute tape or you're into scrapbooking, then you really have to come here and check out all the supplies. I've picked up many of my crafts supplies at Daiso and I felt like this store had a bigger variety than the Orange County locations that I've been to before.
I always see these erasers and I want to buy all of them! I feel like I would never erase anything with these because I would be too scared to ruin the cuteness.
Calling all dog and cat owners, you can buy pet supplies here! There's pet wipes, toys, little Japan shirts, collars, leashes, and even dog diapers here. I picked up a few grooming supplies for Bowie because he really needed a little trim around his face.
Not going to lie, I really wanted an inflatable Pocky stick. All the little kids were wandering around the store with these and I wanted one too. Now I'm regretting my decision because who doesn't want a giant Pocky box and sticks? I did pick up a small box of green tea Pocky though, but they were all gone in under 2 minutes.
These are just one of the many cute decorations that you'll see at Daiso. Look at the little bunnies! And the white cats! I don't need any of these but they're just so cute to look at. If you're in serious need to see cute things, then come here! You'll get an instant boost of happiness just wandering around the store.
I'm sure you've seen my nail polish rack by now but Daiso has me beat BIG TIME. You can find every single color of the rainbow at Daiso! You can find glitter, metallic, cream, neon, pastel, and neutral nail polishes. There's also a nice selection of nail treatments and manicure supplies. If you're a nail polish junkie, then you can come here and get your fix without leaving a dent in your wallet.
And those are all the pictures I took at the grand opening! I originally wanted to do a haul but I already ate half of my haul and the other things I picked up were quite boring like a car freshener and wipes. I'll definitely be filming a haul very soon though since I do plan to visit the store with my mom who has never been in a Daiso. I have a feeling that she would love this store.
