The 5 Product Face

The 5 Product Face
If you follow me on Snapchat, then you've seen me really embrace minimal makeup recently. Sometimes I just can't be bothered by a long and complicated routine, and that's when the 5 Product Face comes into play. This is a very quick routine that you can do when you've hit snooze a few too many times or plan to do your makeup on the go. The 5 Product Face has undergone many changes over my time as a beauty blogger, but this is my latest take on the minimal makeup look. Think bronzed skin, feathered brows, and a touch of shine on the lips.

To create a naturally flawless complexion I went with the trèStiQue Moisture & Blend Tinted Face Stick in Cape Cod Stone* which was designed for the girl who doesn't have much time to get ready. This multitasking foundation has light-medium coverage and comes with a little sponge applicator on the end for on the go application. All I do is draw a few lines all over my face and blend away! It's literally that easy. You can also layer on a bit more of this product on areas you want to conceal without fearing the dreaded cake face.

To add some color to my face I actually opted for bronzer instead of a blush- shocker, I know. I recently tried out the Pür Cosmetics Gradient Matte-Shimmer Bronzer in Glow Together* and instantly fell in love with it. The giant bronzer has three matte strips to create definition and three shimmer strips to give your skin a healthy glow. When all the strips are blended together using a big fluffy brush, you get this very healthy and natural looking summer glow. It virtually looks undetectable on the skin, that's how finely milled the powder is. This bronzer is also incredibly versatile and can double as an eyeshadow palette. I took a few of the matte shades all over the crease and then popped the light shimmer shade on my eyelid.

I know I could technically get away with not filling in my brows but I always like adding a product to tame those beasts. My go-to brow product recently has been the very affordable Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara. This brow gel lightly fills in and defines my brows in one simple step. And if you also have naturally bushy brows, then you'll be happy to hear that this product will keep your eyebrows in place the whole day.

No makeup look is complete without a healthy coating of mascara. What can I say? I just really love a good volumizing mascara. I will happily spend a few minutes in front of a mirror trying to coat every single lash possible. My newest mascara discovery is the Elizabeth Arden Grand Entrance Mascara* which has a thin and curved brush for ultimate precision. The mascara is very easy to maneuver around and it does a great job of lifting your lashes. So far I've been really enjoying this mascara and you will definitely be seeing a review pop up on the blog in the near future.

Finally, the lips! I've been giving my matte liquid lipsticks a break because my lips are screaming for more moisturizing formulas. I had been patiently waiting for the Lancôme Juicy Shakers to launch in the U.S. and they finally did a few weeks ago. I know I don't need any more lip products but I couldn't help but give into the Lisa Eldridge effect. I picked up the Lancôme Juicy Shaker in Vanilla and it was love at first application. This is a very hydrating oil with buildable color that doesn't feel sticky. The lip product also comes with the most fun applicator I've ever seen which allows you to bounce a cushion onto your lips.

And that's it for my 5 Product Face! What are your go-to products for a 5 Product Face? Let me know in the comments.
