My First Nourish Beauty Box

Nourish Beauty Box
By now all of you know how much I enjoy subscription services. I've tried pretty much all the major beauty subscription services, an Asian beauty box, a nail polish subscription service, and even a lifestyle box. A subscription service that is completely new to me is Nourish Beauty Box which is a monthly subscription box that specializes in natural, cruelty-free, and ingredient conscious beauty products. Unlike most subscription services, Nourish Beauty Box sends out 3 full-sized beauty products and they offer free worldwide shipping. Yes, finally a subscription box that ships worldwide!

Balanced Guru Scrub Me Nice and Gritty Body Scrub, $22.99
This is a body scrub made with raw sugar, organic coffee, coconut oil, and cocoa butter. It's meant for all skin types and it's paraben-free. Personally I'm not a huge fan of this scrub, and that's mainly because it's so dry and messy. Maybe I'm just really used to the oily consistency SheaMoisture Scrubs, but this scrub almost feels like there's nothing special to it. The scrub does have an impressive list of certified organic ingredients, but the physical exfoliators are the sugar and coffee grounds. This scrub also has very strong coffee, lavender, and mint scent which will linger in your bathroom. Usually I'm a fan of those scents, but not so much when they have been mixed together. Overall I think this is a very effective and gritty scrub, but it's not something that I would personally purchase.

Seraphine Botanicals Guava Butter Lip & Cheek Stain, $24
I love a good multitasking product, and this one is no exception. This is a vegan creamy lip and cheek product that is made with shea butter and other vegetable derived ingredients. The texture of this stain is very creamy and emollient, so it will melt into your skin to leave a very natural flush of color. Although the formula is creamy, I felt like it didn't feel greasy on my oily skin and it lasted surprisingly well. I have tried this on both my lips and cheeks, and I personally like this much better as a cheek stain simply because of how natural it looks. I'm definitely a fan of this product and it definitely gets bonus points for smelling like a delicious guava.

Graydon All Over Elixir Oil, $23.83
Another product that I was a huge fan of is this face and body oil by Graydon. I honestly think this product is such a bargain considering the blend of oils and the size of this bottle. Most oils or serums sold only have 1 fl oz of product, this has 3.48 fl oz and it's less than $25! The elixir can be used both on your face and body, and like most oils a little goes a long way. The elixir has a blend of sunflower oil, vitamin e oil, grapeseed oil, and essential oils (lavender, chamomile, and sandalwood). The oil is very light and absorbs easily into the body, so you won't get a greasy film on your skin. I'm a huge fan of this product and would definitely recommend it!

Eco-friendly Tote Bag, $22.95
The canvas tote bag is adorable! I absolutely love the screen print designs with little cacti and plants, I just think they're so cute. As much as I love the bag, I personally think that the quality isn't the best considering the price. It is a very thin canvas, which leads me to believe that it won't be able to withstand a lot of weight. And if you were to subscribe to this subscription box you would end up accumulating a lot of tote bags. Trust me, after a while you'll get sick of the tote bags just like I got sick of the Ipsy makeup bags. I hope that Nourish Beauty Box will change it up in the future and perhaps consider other lifestyle options for the 4th item.
Nourish Beauty Box
Overall I was quite impressed with Nourish Beauty Box and I would consider getting at least another bag in the future. I really like that they send three full sized natural and cruelty-free beauty products. I know that diving into the natural beauty world can be quite daunting, but services like Nourish Beauty Box do make it a lot easier to discover new brands and products. I do have to mention that Nourish Beauty Box is still quite a new subscription service, they launched their service in September 2015.

The cost of the box is $34.95/month which is definitely one of the pricier boxes that I've come across, but you do receive about $70+ worth of products in your box. Plus this box is the only one that I've come across that offers free worldwide shipping.
