5 Stick Products to Try Out

I've spoken about my favorite products lazy girls before on the blog, but the ultimate products for lazy girls are definitely stick products. In this post I'm going to be sharing some of my favorite makeup products that conveniently come in stick form, so they're easy to use and very travel-friendly. These are swipe, dab, and go type of products that don't require much time to apply or blend out. I made sure to include everything in this list from blurring face primer, to a comfortable lip product that doubles as a blush. And as a bonus, a lot of these products will look very familiar to you since I have used them in many tutorials and even reviewed them. That's always a great sign that I truly love a product. ;-)

1. The Estée Edit Pore Vanishing Stick, $28
I recently spoke about how much I love the Pore Vanishing Stick on my Ride or Die Tag video, but I had to mention it yet again. This is an easy to use stick that will instantly blur out the appearance of pores and create a nice canvas for foundation and concealer. The stick has an outer core which contains oil-absorbing powders and the inner core is slightly tinted to even out your skin tone a little. This is my ideal primer because it's incredibly easy to use, not sticky, and it's also very lightweight.

2. trèStiQue Moisture & Blend Tinted Face Stick, $34
I've tried a few stick foundations in the past, but one my stand out stick foundations has been the trèStiQue Moisture & Blend Tinted Face Stick (review here). The reason why I love this particular stick foundation is because it provides light to medium coverage and it feels really nice on my skin. The foundation has quite a natural finish, so it's not too dewy or matte. To apply it you literally just swipe it on your face and you can either blend it out by using the sponge in the end cap or by using your fingers. This is truly a foundation stick designed for the girl on the go.

3. Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek, $24
After years of experimenting with cream blushes, I've finally found the perfect one for my oily skin type. Unlike many cream blushes that claim to work both on your cheeks and lips, the Lip + Cheek actually delivers on that claim (review here). These will give you a beautiful flush of color on the cheeks that will last pretty much the whole day, even during a very hot day. A lot of cream blushes will dry to a powder finish but these ones don't, so they will feel more like a comfortable balm stain. The shades that I own are Rally (rosy mauve) and Quickie (berry) and I would honestly recommend both, they're just great value for your money.

4. Glossier Haloscope, $22
The Glossier Haloscope (review here) is a dewy cream highlight with moisturizing skincare benefits that comes in two shades: Quartz (pale rose gold) and Topaz (golden bronze). I know a lot of people with oily skin shy away from moisturizing products and highlighters with a dewy finish, but these ones work really well on all skin types. All you do is swipe the highlighter where the light would naturally hit your face and blend it out with your fingers. Quartz highlights my face beautifully and I also tend to use it on the inner corner of the eyes as well to open them up a bit. I actually didn't think I needed Topaz in my life but I really love using it as a subtle bronzer for a sunkissed look.

5. Milk Makeup Holographic Stick, $28
I've gotten many questions how the Holographic Stick compares to the Haloscope and in my opinion the only things they have in common are a similar name and the fact that they're both sticks (review here). The Holographic Stick is a funky iridescent lavender highlight which looks intergalactic on the skin, while the Haloscope highlighters look very "normal" in comparison. The Holographic Stick can be used to highlight, as an eyeshadow, and even as a lipstick topper. You might think that you don't need a lavender highlight but trust me, it's a lot more wearable than you think it is.
