Review | Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick Duo

Today I have such an exciting blog post because I'm going to be telling you about some of the best lipsticks I've ever tried. Yes, you heard correctly! Out of all my lipsticks these ones by Bite Beauty have one of the best formulas ever. If you've ever wanted a lipstick that has great staying power, glides smoothly, never dries up, and comes in various vibrant and flattering colors then you really need to check out the Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipsticks. If you're a bit scared of splurging on a $24 lipstick then this little duo let's you try out two Bite Beauty lipsticks for only $12 which to me is a great deal.

Bite Beauty's "bite-sized" lipstick duo in Palomino and Violet is one of the best concepts ever, I seriously wish more companies would follow this trend. This is exactly what I'm looking for when I'm being introduced for a brand. I'm usually a little hesitant about spending so much on a brand I don't know much about, but I'm more than willing to shell out $12 on something that gives me the option to try out not one but two shades. The lipstick duo is the size of my middle finger and you don't get much product (each color has 0.05 oz) but honestly, when was the last time you finished a lipstick? I can tell you that I haven't finished a lipstick in years, so I feel good about the possibility of finishing this duo up within a few months. The size also makes it super convenient for keeping in your purse or travel bag.

Now let's talk about the lipsticks because as I said the formula is amazing! The Bite Beauty Crème Lipsticks just glide on so smoothly on your lips and they're incredibly pigmented. One swipe will give you full on opaque color which is incredible! I've worn both of these lip colors on a 8+ hour work shift and the lipstick looks amazing all day! You will have to reapply at least once during the day (especially after eating) but you'll be surprised at how much color is left on your lips. Also for a long lasting lipstick this never feels dry on the lips. If you're a fan of MAC's Amplified formula then you'll really love the Luminous Crème Lipstick formula. Plus Bite Beauty lipsticks don't have any parabens, sulfates, or phthalates which is great for something that is going on your lips.

Violet is described as a vibrant purple but to me it looks more like a fuschia with more purple than pink. I also think that Violet looks a lot like radiant orchid, the color of the year. This isn't a very in your face purple in my opinion, which is great for someone that wants to eventually start wearing more purple colors down the line.

Palomino is described as a vibrant magenta and I have to agree with that description. To me Palomino is the perfect berry lip color! It looks beautiful on the lips and instantly brightens up your face. When I finish up Palomino you better believe that I'm going to buy the full-sized lipstick.

Overall I am just in love with the Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick Duo and I would highly recommend people to pick either duo up if you want to try out Bite Beauty for the first time. I am definitely going to pick up the more neutral duo soon, as well as buying a full-sized Luminous Crème Lipstick. I wish Bite Beauty could have even more lipstick duos but trying out 4 shades for $24 is great deal.
