Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream
As you all may know by now, it doesn't get too cold here in San Diego but that doesn't mean that my hands don't get dry. Something that people tend to forget is that California is a desert and our climate tends to be pretty dry, especially if you don't live near the coast. In recent weeks the air has become extremely dry which is confusing my oily skin a lot and also making my hands uncomfortably dry. I first heard about the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream thanks to my brother who has been a huge fan of this highly moisturizing and lightly scented hand cream for about 3 years now. I know, the beauty blogger discovered a product thanks to someone who doesn't care much about beauty products. The hand cream that I'll be talking about today is a spin-off of Neutrogena's much-loved Norwegian Formula, but does it live up to the original version?

The Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream was originally developed in Norway for the Arctic fishermen who needed to protect their hands from some of the coldest, harshest weather on earth. No wonder why my brother chose to bring his own tube of the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream when we went to Denmark and Sweden! I gave him a harsh time for bringing a hand cream made in another Scandinavian country but now I know how great this hand cream truly is.

I recently put the Fast Absorbing version of hand cream through a 7 day test so I tell you more about this amazing hand cream formula. Honestly the 7 day test couldn't have come at a better time, the weather here in San Diego has been incredibly dry and I've been at work doing a lot with my hands, to the point that I've been getting blisters. Dry hands and blisters is not something that I particularly want to show off as a beauty blogger so I had to do something about that. Thankfully a week later my hands have returned to their original state so I can now say goodbye to the dry cracked skin and blisters!

From the moment you apply this hand cream your hands will feel incredibly soft but not greasy. The hand cream also worked wonders on my cuticles which is why I started to apply a thicker layer on my cuticles before going to bed. The Neutrogena Norwegian Formula repairs skin’s natural moisture barrier to keep hands, and especially cuticles, softer and smoother, longer.

Apart from the feel of this hand cream, I also loved the light and non-greasy formula. There are so many lotions that I've tried that leave my hands incredibly greasy to the point that everything I touch will have greasy fingerprints. Another thing that I loved was that this cream has a very light scent which won't clash with any of your perfumes. My dad always gets mad at my mom and I for using heavily scented hand lotions when we spend so much money of perfumes, but now he won't have anything to complain about.

Whether you live in an area that experiences a harsher winter or in a desert climate like I do, I would recommend the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream to anyone. Both the original hand cream and the fast absorbing versions are incredible, so it'll be up to you to decide if you want a lighter formula or something thicker to combat the harshest winters out there.

Have you tried the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream? If so, let me know in the comments below. If you haven't tried this hand cream let me know what your favorite hand creams are, I would love to know!
