The Easiest Way to Fix Makeup Mistakes

The Easiest Way to Fix Makeup Mistakes
So you've done almost your entire makeup routine and suddenly you get mascara on the bridge of your nose? That's a beauty scenario that happens way too often in my life. There's also all the times when you've blinked and gotten mascara on your lower eyelid, and all those times that you've tried to wing out your eyeliner and somehow it just kept getting thicker and thicker in order to "fix" your mistakes. Luckily I've found a two step process that doesn't require lugging around your oil-based makeup remover or wasting an entire makeup wipe just to fix something that is smaller than a dime. All you're going to need is a handy dandy tool that costs less than $5 and a cotton swab.

The Easiest Way to Fix Makeup Mistakes
Step 1: Grab your Clean* pencil and draw over the area that you wish to remove, in this case it's a wing that was too long for my liking. The Clean pencil by Tutu looks just like a jumbo pencil and goes on completely clear. The pencil is supposed to be a water based cream stick that can cut through any product from eyeliner to lipstick. The best thing about this pencil is that it doesn't need to be sharpened! You simply twist up to get more product to come out, which is a lovely feature to have because there's nothing I hate more than sharpening jumbo pencils.

Step 2: Using a cotton swab, go over the area where you just applied the Clean pencil. If you're removing mascara on your lid or the bridge of your nose, then just simply twist the cotton swab to remove the mascara stain. In order to fix eyeliner mistakes just drag the cotton swab up to try to create a smaller wing. It doesn't take more than a minute to clean up any area, and it doesn't leave an oily residue behind.

That's basically it! When I said this is the easiest way I really meant it. The days of wasting makeup remover or a makeup wipe are long gone my friends.

The Clean pencil by Tutu retails for $2.99 on Born Pretty Store. You can save 10% off by using the code LNH10 when you're checking out.
