New Maybelline Lip Products | Swatches + Review
It seems Maybelline has been hard at work rolling around new products for the summer. This past weekend when I went to Walmart, I noticed a few new lip products from the brand which made me very excited. I got so excited that I began Snapchatting in front of the Maybelline displays at Walmart so I could share all these new products with my followers. Among the new releases are 10 brand new shades of their very popular Color Sensational Creamy Mattes lipsticks. The Baby Lips range also welcomed their first non-lip balm product in the United States in the form of the Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Gloss. And finally Maybelline released the Color Blur by LipStudio Cream Matte Pencil & Smudgers, which is inspired by the reverse gradient trend which is incredibly popular in Korea. In this blog post you'll get to see Maybelline's brand new lip product releases, swatches, and also get reviews on each product!

Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Coral Craze

Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Gloss in 45 Coral Craze, $3.86
When I saw these I flipped out! I've seen other Baby Lips products in the Asian beauty markets, but I had no idea that the U.S. was going to get something new this soon. These glosses are incredibly moisturizing and comfortable on the lips. As far as color goes, there is just a slight tint of coral on my lips which you can only notice from far way. Up close it just looks like a clear gloss since you can clearly see the natural pigmentation of my lips.
Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Gloss in 25 Taupe With Me, $3.86
I have this lip gloss to blame for my addiction! Although the name suggests that it's a taupe, the real color is a sheer milky peach. This color evens out my natural pigmentation better than the coral shade, but it's still on the sheer side. As previously mentioned these are very comfortable on the lips, to the point that you can even ditch your lip balm.

Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Mattes in 657 Nude Nuance, $5.50
I am absolutely crazy about this color! It's a subtle brick red shade that will suit so many different skin tones. If you're a fan of these browny 90's inspired lip shades, then you'll really love this one. I originally had picked out Blushing Pout from the 10 new shades, but I returned it the following day since the color transferred very differently on my lips. The lip bullet looked like a gray-ish pink shade, but on my lips it looked like a milky pastel pink. I'm so glad I returned it and got this one instead because I'm in love! And just like the original Color Sensational Creamy Mattes, the new shades feel very comfortable on the lips.

Maybelline ColorBlur by Lipstudio Cream Matte Pencil & Smudger in 15 Berry Misbehaved, $7.73
This lip range by Maybelline looks incredibly gimmicky with the smudger end. The whole concept revolves around the gradient lip trend which has been popularized in Korean culture, I'm personally not too sure how that trend is going to resonate with Americans though. The silicone smudger is not necessary but the actual matte pencil is great. It is highly pigmented and feels very comfortable on the lips, much like the Color Sensational Creamy Mattes. Berry Misbehaved is a cool-toned fuchsia shade that will brighten up any skin tone.
In this video you'll get to see how all the products apply and also hear a more in-depth review about the new Maybelline lip products.
