First Impression | Paul Mitchell StyleWand

Paul Mitchell StyleWand
It's no secret that I suck at styling my hair, hence why I don't really film hair tutorials. I'm just hair incompetent by now and the best I can ever do is using a hair tie or clip to keep my hair up. I'm quite minimal when it comes to hair, I just like applying some product and hoping for the best once it air dries. Recently I received the fancy looking StyleWand Thermal Styling Brush by Paul Mitchell and I knew I had to try it out on camera. I had never used anything like a thermal styling brush before but I mean, how hard could it be? (Just kidding, wish me luck because I need it.)

The Paul Mitchell StyleWand Thermal Styling Brush* works for creating volume, flips, curls, waves, and smoothing hair. The ceramic brush provides even heat distribution and the bristles stay cool to the touch, so you won't be burning your ears or neck. The StyleWand has LED display and five heat setting which you can easily control. And in case you forget to turn off the StyleWand, it automatically shuts off in an hour.

Before: Flat third day hair. After: Fabulous blown out hair. I honestly could have achieved even better results if I would have done 1-inch sections all across my hair, but to be honest I think I didn't do such a shabby job for the first time using the StyleWand.
I hope you enjoy seeing me attempt to style my hair! There's also a small appearance of my 6th grade hairstyle in this video.

Have you ever tried a thermal styling brush before? Let me know in the comments below.

Disclaimer: Paul Mitchell sent me the StyleWand as a press sample. I've been part of their Paul Mitchell Insiders program for over a year now which allows me to preview new launches. This video and post are not sponsored.
