Mail Time! | #NTGBeautifulInsideOut package

Latina Bloggers Connect and Neutrogena want everyone to feel beautiful  inside and out this spring and summer so with help from Elizabeth Ulloa, Neutrogena's Hispanic Beauty Ambassador, they have created a beauty and skincare regimen to achieve a beautiful look. I was lucky to have been sent a package with a lot of Neutrogena products to test out and review on my blog which made me really excited because I've never tried Neutrogena makeup products before.

To start off the beautiful inside and out routine, Neutrogena suggests cleansing with the Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes* or the Oil-Free Pink Grapefruit Cleansing Wipes* which are ideal for people with acne-prone skin like myself. While I have used (and enjoyed) the Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes in the past, I've never tried the Pink Grapefruit Cleansing Wipes. I honestly can't wait to use the wipes because I love the smell of grapefruits... like a lot. For some reason I think I'm just going to be opening the package a ridiculous amount of times just to smell the wipes.
I was not send a moisturizer to try but since I'm already familiar with the Ultra Sheer Sunblock* I know I really won't really need one because it is pretty moisturizing. Neutrogena suggests to apply sunscreen daily, which is a must for us pale girls who live in Southern California. I've used this sunblock the 3 years I went to Coachella,so if it can survive the tough Indio Valley heat, it can defintely survive a trip to the beach or a outing with your friends.
Now for the most exciting part- the makeup! To begin the makeup portion you must start with a good base and the Shine Control Primer* is supposed to not only help your foundation last longer but it also helps to control your oiliness which is something I desperately need. And now for the backups for the battle against oiliness we have the Shine Control Makeup* with SPF 20 and the Shine Control Powder*. I'm hoping these three products will not only keep my skin looking matte for hours but also won't feel like they're clogging my pores. I honestly believe I am the right candidate to try this range of makeup products because when I say my skin is oily, I really mean it. My face can look ridiculously shiny and I can literally feel all the oil on my forehead and nose when its pretty bad.
Now let's move on to the eyes... Neutrogena is another makeup brand that now has crease proof shadow sticks. It seems like crease proof shadows, whether they're in stick form or in a pot, are definitely in for spring and summer. The Crease Proof Eye Shadow* that I was sent is a light pink color which I normally wouldn't go for at all but I'm interested in seeing how it applies and the longevity of the product. And being the mascara freak that I am very excited to try the Healthy Lengths Mascara*. Judging by the brush I think this mascara is going to leave me with long but natural looking eyelashes which is good for days that I'm just going to school or out to eat with my parents.
Are you tired by now? You better not be because I still have one more product to mention! The last product in the package was the Moisture Smooth Color Stick* in Sweet Watermelon. If you know me you know I wouldn't pick a light pink shade but regardless of the shade I am a big fan of chubby lip pencils so I'm looking forward to finding out if Neutrogena's version of the popular lip product can measure up to my favorite chubby lip pencils from Revlon and Tarte. If I end up loving this I might be in trouble because I'll want to get all the deeper shades in the Moisture Smooth Color Stick range.
I hope you enjoyed this special installment of "Mail Time!" I'll be reviewing each product next week so be on the look out for my reviews. Since they're so many products to review, I'll be separating the posts in three categories: skincare, face, and eyes/lips.

Have you tried Neutrogena beauty products? If so, which products do you recommend?

I hope you all have a great weekend! And for students that are on spring break, I hope all of you enjoy your week off!

  1. Eeee! I can't wait. I don't own any Neutrogena products at all. And yes, another oily skin person! Haha! I swear everyone else I know has normal/dry skin.

    1. I know! It seems like most beauty bloggers and gurus have normal/dry skin.
