Review | L'Oréal Visible Lift CC Eye Concealer

There used to be a time when I preferred a full coverage concealer for my dark circles but now I reach for concealers with a lighter consistency. When I heard about this concealer I was immediately intrigued by the idea of a CC (color correcting) product for the under eye area. This product is supposed to roll away signs of fatigue and give you a more youthful and wide-awake look. I've been testing this product out for about two weeks now so I feel that I can properly review it now. So does it simply roll away signs of fatigue?

This product reminded me a lot Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller because of the roller ball and compact packaging. I'm aware that Garnier has a tinted version of the eye roller but I've never tried it so I can't compare it with this. The packaging of the L'Oréal Visible Lift CC Eye Concealer ($9.99) is nice and small, which means it's very travel friendly and easy to grip like a pen. I personally love the metal roller ball because it's very cooling which helps combat puffy eyes, but I do have problems getting an even layer of product. I find myself going back and forth until I'm content with how much product has been dispensed. This is a minor annoyance which I had to point out because I normally don't have to go back and forth with other concealers.

As for the product itself, I've been really enjoying it. I've found myself reaching for it a lot recently. Much like the Maybelline concealer, this has a very light and sheer consistency which gives you a naturally brightened look. If you're looking for something that will conceal your dark circles completely then this is not the product for you. This is more for the girl who wants things to look natural. As the name implies it does give you a lifted look to your eyes since it gets rid of the majority of darkness. And as far as their claims go, I think it does a fantastic job of giving you a fresh wide-awake look. I do have to point out that the shade range is very limited which is unfortunate. There are only three shades available: fair (pink toned), light (yellow toned), and medium.

I recently wore this on my January favorites and loved how it gave me a very youthful look on camera. The concealer is also extremely easy to blend which is a plus! To blend it out I just use my fingers since the consistency blends out like a dream. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a low-maintenance concealer that will provide a natural wide-awake look.

Now you may be wondering why I photographed two concealers... Well I'm giving the other one away! Are you ready for the second secret giveaway on my blog?
