When it comes to foundation, I personally prefer something with a light consistency and natural coverage. I really don't like the feel of a heavy foundation or seeing a lot of product caked on my face, it just doesn't go well with having a really oily complexion. The new HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation by Pür Cosmetics is a lightweight foundation with skincare properties. The foundation has a beautiful radiant look (which even I can appreciate) and it feels a lot like a serum. In today's review I'm going to be showing you how this foundation applies and swatching all five shades available.
The Pür HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation features encapsulated water from the Swiss Alps, Ceretin Complex, and Vitamin E to hydrate and refresh the skin. Some of the skincare benefits include smoothing and firming the skin's appearance, as well as long-lasting hydration. The foundation is meant to give you a breathable and naturally luminous skin, so this is in no way a full coverage foundation. Pür cosmetics recommends to use 2 to 3 drops of foundation all over the face and the innovative tip makes it very easy to dispense the right amount of product.
Skin tones from right to left: Light, medium, tan, dark, and deep. These are the only five shades available so there are no undertone variations in the collection. I find that the shades are able to fit a variety of skin tones due to the light coverage and natural look.
Here's my skin before and after applying the Pür HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation. I applied around 6 drops to cover my entire face. As you can see it did even out my skintone, but you're still able to see some of my freckles around my nose. The foundation blurs out imperfections but doesn't cover them completely, so if you need a bit more coverage then you'll have to use a bit of concealer.
