Last month I predicted that October might be the month that could turn this year around and well... I can safely say that it definitely gave me a brand new outlook on life. This last month was so enjoyable and it allowed me to have so much fun. First of all, my new job at bareMinerals has been absolutely incredible! This last month I also got the opportunity to make new friends and reconnect with one of my oldest friends. As far as makeup goes, I had so much fun playing with more colorful looks thanks to the Juvia's Place The Nubian 2 palette which I recently used in a tutorial. I'm feeling more and more like my old self as time goes on, which is definitely a really good thing.

Review | Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse Eye Cream
Nuxe is one of the wonderful French skincare brands that I was lucky enough to discover when I was studying abroad in Paris. I'm sure you've heard me rave about the Rêve de Miel Lip Balm one too many times before. That is my holy grail lip balm and it's one of the most irreplaceable products in my skincare routine. In fact that's been my go-to lip balm for almost 5 years now, so that's goes to show how much I love and trust Nuxe as a skincare brand. Apart from the lip balm, Nuxe is also known for their famous (dare I say iconic) Huile Prodigieuse. There wasn't a French pharmacy that I would walk into where I wouldn't see bottles among bottles of that beautiful gold oil. Well if you're a fan of the Huile Prodigieuse, then you might want to look into the Crème Prodigieuse range. In this post I'm going to be talking about the Crème Prodigieuse Eye Cream which has replaced all my other eye creams and is now that only thing I use in the day and at night.
Ride or Die Tag + Makeup Look
One of the most popular tags going around YouTube at the moment is the Ride or Die Tag which was created by the uber popular Jaclyn Hill. I initially wasn't planning on recording this tag until I saw other people talking and actually using all their all-time favorite products in a tutorial. I found that version of the tag far more entertaining and helpful, so I decided to give it a go. This tag is a great way to find out what people's holy grail products are and how they look like when applied to the face. In my video you'll definitely see a lot of familiar products and some that I don't tend to show much on video but use a lot in my regular life.

Top 5 Lip Balms
A few weeks ago a subscriber of mine gave me a suggestion to share my favorite lip balms on my channel. I've shared a lip balm here and there, but for some reason I hadn't made a video exclusively about the lip balms that I use when my lips are feeling dry and chapped. When it comes to lip balms I prefer thicker and more moisturizing formulas that have a better grip on the lips, instead of thin formulas that fade away much quicker. For that reason you won't be seeing the famous EOS Sphere Lip Balms that are all over YouTube in my list. My lips can get quite dry and cracked thanks to the San Diego weather and all the lipsticks I wear, so I need a heavy duty formula that will keep them soft and healthy.
November 2015 Favorites
This month's favorites is a bit different to my others because I feel like it has the most variety. There's everything from makeup products to documentaries that I enjoyed watching. Yes, this is certainly not your standard favorites video. After last month's skincare and hair testing disasters I found some amazing gems that managed to save both my skin and hair. If you have frizzy curly/wavy hair, then you will really want to pay attention. Also, a thing that I completely forgot to mention in the video is that in the month of December I plan to record 3-4 videos per week! Consider it my version of Vlogmas.

May 2015 Ipsy Bag Opening
I've you've seen my Ipsy bag openings, then you would know that I've always been very happy about the subscription services. There has been a few products that haven't worked out, but the bag as a whole has never disappointed me. This month's bag was by far the most exciting bag that I've ever received from Ipsy. I swear I felt like the Nintendo 64 kid as I was opening this bag, I just can't help but get a little too excited over makeup and skincare.
January 2015 Favorites
It seems like I haven't posted a monthly favorites on my blog in a while. While I did post a December favorites my DSLR started failing and the post never went up but now we're back in business! In January I discovered a lot of affordable gems at the drugstore that can easily compete with higher end options. I also discovered a great trio that helps extend the life of my manicure which is always a great thing, especially when you have a puppy biting your nails. If you're curious about seeing why I liked each item just click to see the rest of the post. As a bonus I'm also going to include my December favorites in this blog post.
Winter Skincare Essentials
'Tis the season for dry and dull face but it doesn't have to be that way. Even those of us who with oily skin start experiencing the results of a colder climate and dry wind. The two crucial steps to avoid dry and dull skin is to remember to moisturize your skin well and also exfoliate to get rid of all the dead skin. I'll be sharing with you some of my favorite products and some newer discoveries that are now part of my fall/winter skincare routine.
