Outfit of the Day | The Chambray Dress

Get ready for the attack of the hats! 2016 is definitely going to be the year of the hats for me, especially since it's barely March and it already feels like summer here in San Diego. I'll basically do anything to keep the sun out of my face, so hats are perfect for me and my pale face. You've already seen me style a hat with a laid back outfit, but today I wanted to pair it with a dress to show you how versatile they really are. I probably looked like a six year-old got dressed by her mom, but at least I looked like a stylist six year-old.

Outfit of the Day | Mint Condition

Time for another outfit of the day! That's the second one this month, I think I deserve a pat on the back. Last weekend when my boyfriend came to visit me it was really hot, too hot to wear a short sleeve + jeans combo. Recently I purchased my first trapeze top and let me tell you this is the most comfortable sleeveless top ever! I love how loose this top is because it didn't cling on to my body whatsoever, plus no one will be able to notice if you ate too much cheese. So now that I have your attention, let me show you my casual outfit with a pop of mint.

Outfit of the Day | The Panoramic Printed Dress

If you saw the Neiman Marcus Spring 2014 Trends post then you would know that prints are going to be big in spring. One of the items we were shown was a beautiful printed dress which reminded me of something I bought last summer. The panoramic print may not be identical but it still fall under that print trend we'll be seeing a lot of. Also you'll notice a little dog in all my pictures and that's my Yorkie Francis. I brought her along to the park because well she's a dog and she likes going to the park. haha.

Outfit of the Day | The Blue Plaid Shirt

As I told you in the last lifestyle post, I try to dress as comfortably as possible whenever I take the train. I've dressed cute in the past to visit my boyfriend and I've learned my lesson that sitting around on the train doesn't care if I look cute or not. I mostly stick to comfortable tops, jeans, and boots whenever I go see him because I might want to take a nap on the way back. When I was picking out my outfit at 5am this plaid shirt I bought years ago was begging to be worn again. Since it was quite chilly at 5am I just grabbed it since I knew I could just roll up my sleeves if it got hotter during the day. I know I'm late to the plaid game but a comfortable shirt can honestly be worn year round.

Outfit of the Day | Wine Tasting in Temecula

On Sunday the limo company Aall In Limo hosted a couple of San Diego fashion, food, and travel bloggers on one of their wine tours in Temecula. The last time I went to a wine tour I was only a teen so all I got to taste in Napa were sparkling juices. This time around I'm in my 20's and accompanied by some of my great bloggers friends. Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas

Valentine's Day is almost here and with that comes the hard decision of figuring out what you're going to wear. You can either go dress up for your significant other if you're planning a romantic night out, or dress down if you're going to be having a casual night or going out with your friends. If I were doing something I'd probably wear the casual look since it has a subtle touch of red, plus it's definitely a lot more "me."

Outfit of the Day | December Nights

Last Friday I attended my first ever December Nights at Balboa Park. It is a two-day celebration held at Balboa Park (the area that houses many of San Diego's museums and also the zoo). There's a lot of food, gifts to buy, music, and free activities for the family during December Nights. Most of the museums were free that day which made me really happy, and you get to walk around and see the park completely decorated in lights. I'm going to share with you the outfit I choose to wear to December nights. It isn't the most holiday-ish outfit but I just really wanted somewhere to wear my holographic shoes out.

Outfit of the Day | Monochromatic

For the month of October the San Diego Style Bloggers blog issued a challenge to come up with monochromatic looks. I honestly was over thinking this and actually trying to plan out a complicated monochromatic look, but this past Sunday the look just sort of happened. I went up to visit my boyfriend this weekend so I didn't end up taking my whole wardrobe and by the last day all I had was black items of clothing. When I looked in the mirror I realized "Hey, I'm wearing head-to-toe black! This is a monochromatic look!"

Outfit of the Day | Viva México

On Monday Mexicans around the world celebrated Mexico's Independence Day! I was lucky enough to have been invited to a party hosted by Don Julio at the Junípero Serra Museum in San Diego which I had never gone to. At the event there were a lot of tacos, tequila, and of course great music courtesy Tijuana's own Nortec Collective. I am back into the wonderful world of VLOGGING! Aww yeah! For those who don't know I've been vlogging for 5 years (on and off) and now that I have my camera I'll be posting vlogs on a regular basis. I don't think I have anything interesting to offer but I personally love watching people's everyday lives so I'm sure some of you will find my vlogs interesting.
